Yorkie Travel Checklist Now that summer is approaching, your Yorkie will get out more! Here's a travel checklist (many items found in Prevention Magazine June 2004): Leash and collar (or harness) Bottled Water Food and water dish Bags to clean up poop Towel to wipe muddy paws Dog first-aid kit Moist towelettes (to clean butts!) Dry Dog Food in Sealed Bag Wet Food with Can Opener Treats in Sealed Container Brush Blanket & Bed Sweater (if you go camping and your Yorkie gets cold at nights) Toys Yorkie Vaccination Record/Health Report/Veterinarian Contact Info Yoda's going on a mini-vacation to his cousin's next week (we are going on vacation as well) so this list will definitely come in handy. If you have anything else to add, please reply! :) |
Great list! And for flea emergencies, don't forget the extra tube of Advantage and the monthly heartworm medication. Oh, and doggie shampoo and conditioner...just in case! (I always overpack.) And pee pads. |
Nice! That is good to remember the flea & heartworm medication. I'm not much of the Yoda bather, so I forgot about shampoo and conditioner tooo. :) |
I've been searching through the old posts and found this... Wanted to bump it up, because it might help someone here :D |
Don't forget the pee pads! |
Don't forget a crate or doggy seatbelt? It may safe your dog life if you get into an accident. |
:) UPDATE: Kelsey has been sent home this morning.. :D She is being sent home on meds for 10 days and then a check-up..then starting shots all over again... :( She is very happy, healthy and wont leave my side. I am a little discouraged about the breeder not cooperating..it's hard. But I have to do what i have to do...what's right. Thanks for all of ya'lls support and comments. I really appreciate it!!! Any questions feel free to ask..im just so drained and OVER this whole thing..just happy to have her home and healthy. |
