My little Yorkie Scooter and his Duckie. I have a young (uhm, about, maybe, 11 month old) male yorkie named Scooter. He has a little duckiee tht squeeks and he loves it. He will take it every where with him! We call it his baby hahaha! Anyway, so, like, he chews on it and it looks like he's massaging it or something, so, what is he doing? Thanks! |
:wavey: Welcome to YT!! Scooter sounds like he loves his Duckie. Some people say their yorkies almost seem to choose a toy that they suck or nurse from. Perhaps that's what is going on. Would love to see pics of Scooter and the Duckie |
Thanks! Okay, well, great, and Il be sure to post some soon!!! |
Hello and Welcome to YT ..... I think it is sooo cute .... take some pic's .... |
i know what your talking about.. u mean when they play with their toy then suddenly stop moving and chew on one part slowly for a while?? hahaha i think its so cute i think they are just massaging their teeth or something? |
Aww! yes can't wait to see him. Hugs Shirl x x :bee: |
Welcome to YT.... and I agree I think they find comfort in doing this |
My 2 1/2 yr old Izzie walks and sleeps with one of her 'babies'....Now, when we are outside, she will play with her 'baby' and drop it in the pool and watch it....I take it out, squeeze out the water, throw it, she gets it and throws it in the pool again ....So cute !!! It's like her 'blankie' I guess !!! :lol2: |
I don't think it is uncommon for them to choose just one toy that is special to them; one that they carry around everywhere or sleep with. Muffin had a little "doggie" that we called "Doggie" and she had it all of her life. It lasted through many, many washings and seam repairs. Doggie was threadbare in many places. We buried Doggie with Muffin. She loved Doggie so. Kacee has adopted a doggie puppet. We named this doggie "Brutus" because it kind of looks like a Brute.:D Anyway, she'll lay down on the floor next to him and many times she will use him for a pillow. |
