I hope you can get her. There has been so much information about not leaving pets in parked cars, why do people still continue to do this?

I don't know. Maybe, we could ask when the court date is. But I don't want to get into anyone's business, but I would really like this dog.I would rather rescue a yorkie and give her a wonderful home for like $75 than pay $1,000 to a horrible breeder for a sick dog.

It would be great if you joined, it's a great way to get in touch with people who are concerned about puppy mills and what's going on with them in the news. Okay, we get there, with just me and my mom, and they don't know me. They only know me because of my dad. My dad doesn't get off work until 5, which is when the shelter closes, and this weekend we will be at houston. I really want this dog. My dad is going to try to go in early tommorow so maybe he can get off early. He is coowner, so I don't understand why he can't get off early. But maybe it is more complicated than it seems. I don't know, I pretty upset they don't know me after volunteering for six months. Well, we didn't see the main gal, which is who I wanted to talk to. Maybe we can try to see her tommorow.

Oh, that sucks, I've heard that sometimes they turn these dogs over to rescues, and you almost have to know somebody to get one, but you do!!

I really hope it works out for you....We are praying that it will and it will....Do they have the yorkie on hold with your name? Surely, there is some list to be on .... And I still can't believe people bring there animals shopping and leave them in a car !!!:eek::eek::eek:

Today, me and my mom are meeting my dad there after he gets off work to ask questions and hopefully get a pic. of her with his cell. Maybe we can put her on hold until after we get back from Houston. I will keep you updated.

That's good. Is there anyway you could get her out and have some one watch her while your gone? I hate to think of her staying there any longer and I would want her safely out of there. Just a thought.

Oh, trust me, if I could, she would be out of there in a heartbeat and on her way to Houston with us. She is not available for adoption yet because they are taking her old owner to court. We are getting a pic. of her to show my mom. If we get lucky, we might get to visit her.We are worried that while we are on vacation she will be put up and adopted.

Well, we went back today and we had the girl take a photo with her phone and show it to us. She is sooooo cute!!!!!!!!However, she said that it could take 2 to 3 months for her to be able to be put up for adoption. We will stay updated on her every week cause we volunteer. There is a chance that the owner will get her back but will most likely not.I would rather wait two to three months or longer to rescue a yorkie than to buy one from a horrible breederor someone who mistreats there yorkies. Anyway, she is a cutie!
