Hi, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Sammy. This makes me so sad to hear this terrible news. Our Yorkies are our "babies" and we love them very much. It will take time, but you will will heal. Please keep the faith.

I am sobbing :cry2: as I read your post. I can only image the pain you must be feeling. I'm so terribly sorry for you and your family to have experiences such a huge loss. I know a lot of what you are feeling... because I too, can not have any children of my own (and how very bad, I wanted them). I have always dreamed of having a child, as I know you have too. And when I first saw the Yorkie Breed, the first thought that came to mind... is how similar they are to having a human child. Everything that you would do for a human child, you will do for a Yorkie. You bath them, brush them, do their hair, clean their teeth, and even dress them. Sometimes, even to match the colors you might be wearing for that day. So you see... I know what that feeling is!

My heart aches and aches :cry: for you and I know a little bit of that feeling when loosing a Yorkie. I was not as attached to my baby as I know you are to yours. You see I lost a baby girl when she was 6 weeks old and I waited for her to be born for over 1 year before she was delivered. I never got to hold her, but I will always love her like she was mine.

I know your pain will be deep and I know it will be hard. If you need someone to talk to... I will be there for you. Send me a private message if you want to talk and I will be there for you. I will stay on YT all weekend just in case you want to talk.


It will take you time to heal, it's not something that's going to go away quickly. What ever you do... PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YT! You will only receive the very best support from the family that you have here on YT. Our YT Family, is what helped me through the rough times, when I lost my baby, LeiLani.

Oh, I'm so very, very sorry.
I lost one of mine through an anaesthetic, a few years ago, & I know how hard it is not to beat yourself up with the "what if's". It takes a long time to accept that you were doing the right thing & get over the "if only I hadn't gone ahead with the operation"

My heart goes out to you, it's a very hard way to lose your baby.
