Funny but Scary Male Enhansment I haven't been on for awhile, my shop is at it's busiest season. I had to have my 16 year old chow/lab mix put to sleep on the 20th of July, he had been going blind and deaf, and he had a stroke during the night. The vet said it would be the most humane thing to do. I miss him so much as I had him since he was 8 weeks old and he was my protector. Now for the problem? :D My Jack is so "amorous" that sometimes his little pistol has a hard time getting back into his holster. Last night it seemed that he was OK, but after about 15 minutes my Husband pointed out that there was about an inch of what looked like a bubble sticking out. Apparantly he had gone to sleep (Jack not my Husband) before completly retracting and it was stuck. I got some cold water on a paper towel and placed it on the offending protusion. IT worked, so I thought I would pass the solution on to other male owners that have a sex maniac running around. Oh, he gets fixed on the 16th, and I am hoping that this slows him down somewhat. |
hahaha !!! Sounds like a few old boyfriends I had....Poor baby and what a good mom to help him out :) I'm so sorry about having your baby go to RB...that is one of the most difficult things I think we ever have to go through...I was with our cocker Lady 2 years ago when she went into Renal Failure and I can tell you - I didn't stop crying for days and even longer before I could even smile....then it does get a bit easier and you will remember all the joy and laughter your baby brought you - 16 years is a nice long time to be blessed and big hugs to you - your baby is now waiting for you at Rainbow Bridge...I'm very sorry for your loss. |
Thanks Villette, I went through this last December also, my yorki/shi mix died in my arms of Congestive Heart Failure, he was almost 11. Both the boys had been friends for so long, and it is strange not having them both here. For the first time in 16 years I am spending nights wondering what noises are. My husband works out of town sometimes and I felt so secure with Homer the chow mix as a watch dog. Jack keeps me busy though, he is a handful, but so good, he is quite the watchdog himself but not very intimidating. I live in the country si will probably get another big dog, just for my peace of mind. |
Oh you poor thing - you had a double whammy - I completely understand...that's really rough for you and you must miss them terribly... When Lady went to RB...my son was totally amazed at how hard I took it - it really was the hardest thing I ever had to do - I was on the floor of the vets office sobbing - they literally made me sit and wait before leaving and it did NOT get easier at home for quite a while. We fall in love and only have them such a short time - 16 years is a good life for your baby - but in the overally realm of things - it's a flash really....I wish we had them longer.... I hope you have very good luck finding a new protector ...it sounds like just the thing to do and there is a doggie out there just waiting for a new mom - Good luck and I'm so sorry for BOTH your losses. |
AAAAAHHH. Now that is motherly love :) You are a sweetie. I am sure your dogs are glad to have you. Sorry about your loss with your babies, but it sounds like they lived very wonderful lives. |
