Can anyone help save this Yorkie??? times running out
 

I saw this little guy on craigs list and have been emailing this person, they cant keep this little guy and are going to take him to the shelter soon if noone takes him, he looks like such a sweet heart too.

Dodger needs a home real fast. He is up to date on his shots and very friendly and fun. I can't care for him anymore because I work alot and he needs alot of attention and I can't give it to him.. If you would like to take this cute dog in then please email me ASAP at miller.450@wright.edu and we will talk and arrange for you to see him. I have dog food, food and water bowls, shampoo, brush, leashes, pretty much everything that you will need to take care of him...There is a small fee of $40 OBO. Could you rescue him yourself, and then find a forever home? :aimeeyork he is very cute. It is a shame that this happens. If the owner really wanted to keep him I think he/she would make every effort possible to do so. :aimeeyork

Yes if I can get him here I would be happy to keep him until he finds his forever home, its just getting him here, My car is still broke down and sitting in town.
I have seen so many dogs needing homes lately its so sad.

on her email it sounds like she had got him from the pound in the first place because this is what shes says.

Do you not have a friend that could pick him up for you? Or could you contact rescues in your area and make them aware of this guy. Don't let him be taken back to the pound....poor baby.:(

How old is this poor lil guy? I can't imagine ever giving up my pup, but I guess if it's the best thing for the poor puppy what can you do?

I've heard that the economy is having alot to do with animals becoming homeless. So many people aren't doing well scraping money for gas and groceries and alot of people have lost their homes. Then end up in places where they just can't keep their pets or Heaven forbid the poor pup would end up needing vet care that the owners wouldn't be able to afford on top of everything else. It's something that I fear, one day your living comfortable and the next day all you have is somehow ripped out from under you including your pet and his or her comfy life. :(

I have heard the same thing. A person in my neighborhood lost their home the day before Thanksgiving and their stuff was on the front lawn for at least a week before someone removed it. I hope they didn't have any pets. My neighbor two doors down walked away from her house a couple of weeks ago but left her kitty because she couldn't take him with her. Now my other neighbor is taking care of him. Times are hard for a lot of people and the poor animals.

That's pitiful. Is he in Ohio?
