So sorry for the loss of your sweet baby. |
:( ... sorry for your loss ... :( |
Aww! love. Such a sad thing to happen. I lost my Yorkie Arnold 18 months ago he was 11 on our very busy road. The one thing that eased the pain was the fact that he was killed instantly and didn't suffer. I feel things are meant to be in our lives. Take sollace in your new little one. You will compare them, but as the weeks go by you'll learn to love it as much as your lost one. God bless you love. Shirl x x |

I'm so sorry for your little baby. I had to deal with this once when I was a teenager. We had a small 2.5 chihuahua for about 5 years one day he was out in the front yard and a car drove right up into our yard and hit him, the freak backed out and left. This was revenge for my teenage brother for stealing his girlfriend. I was so upset and so was everyone else in my home. My mom bought us another chihuahua different color and everything, but it was not Chico. We finally had to find him a new home because none of us could connect/bond with him. This was not fair to the little guy...too this day no one in my family has ever owned another chihuahua nor do we plan to (15 years later). Chico would and does hold a forever place with us. Good luck on your little one and please due everything in your power to love the new baby, remember you picked her to love. That was something we didn't do. J |
I am sorry to hear about your baby. In March I lost my 18 year old Chihuahua and one of my friends sent me this website: The Rainbow Bridge I hope it helps to think that she is in a happy place now :animal-pa Good Luck with your new puppy :aimeeyork |

I'm so very sorry about your loss of Keelyn.:( |
OMG, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I've been through this last year. I know your heart is braking. Prayers coming your way. RIP KEELYN |
I am so sorry for your loss. I can not even imagine how horrible that must have been. Allow yourself to cry...that is part of the grieving process...you can bond with your new fur baby and still grieve. Give yourself some time....sending you lots of thoughts and prayers. |
i am sooo sorry for your loss u bought a tear to my eye that i almost didnt want to finish reading this post. hope ur days get better |
So sorry for your loss! I don't think it's really anyone's business about why you've already gotten another pup, people grieve differently and that's that. Just remember to keep your new pup on a leash and harness when you take her outside, these little ones are speed demons and can get away in the blink of an eye. I'll keep you in my thoughts though! |
My heart goes out to you. I am deeply sorry for your loss. |
April is gone too I know how you feel, I did the same thing = rush out to get a new pup to ease the pain. It will take time. It has been over two years that I lost my best friend April's Bean at 13 1/2 years old. She was 2.5 lbs and was "fearless' and travelled everywhere with me. STAR is now 2years old and I LOVE her, but sometimes (rarely) call her April and I am soooo sad now thinking of April (I try to avoid thinking of her). STAR is "fearful" = hates to go of her home! I feel bad that I took her away from her sibling. We "pet sit" for friend's dogs and STAR loves the company, as April also did. |

I am so sorry for your loss. tragically, accidents happen, which keeps me so scared much of the time with my baby. I know that even in the house it can happen, and we can't punish ourselves when it happens. I'm sorry this happened, and know that you did not do anything wrong.....I know that you need compassion right now not a lecture............ My heart and prayers go to you and I know that your new baby will never replace the little soul that was lost. But the good news is we can have more than one dog in a lifetime, and that you can create something new with this new soul that has been given to you to cherish. Pray for the thoughts and memories of the accident to leave, and be replaced with the good memories of the time you had with your baby. Although it was too short, it was ever so sweet................Love, Darcey |

I can relate to your circumstance. A month ago my Lhasa Poo of 10 years suddenly became ill. I had to put her to sleep a few days before her 10th birthday and a day before our son's birthday. That's how I became a Yorkie owner, I still cry over Millie but Audrey-Belle is sweet. She is a 4 year old breeder release so she's not a spunky pup like our last dog. But she has come a long way since we got her and she isn't meant to replace Millie. But I know in time she will be as much my baby as Millie ever was. The family decided that I needed another dog, and I was still grieving so I wasn't sure. But I'm glad to have her even though I still cry over Millie some days. Hang in there, it just takes alot of time. |
OMG:(:(:( Poor Keelyn!! I'm sorry for your loss! You have found a good place where you will get a lot of support and make many friends. I know it will be a while before you get back to normal, in the meantime feel free to share your thoughts and ask for any advice!! We're all here for you:) Keeping you and Keelyn in my prayers. |
So sorry for your lose:cry: Hopefully it was instint, and she did not suffer. Congrats on your new baby and she will help in your healing process, I am sure. My Rosey delivered her first litter on 7/16/2008 and 3 1/2 days later we lost the "runt" of the litter, although he was not very old you do get attached real quick, I had to bottle feed him every 3-4 hours and losing him was had, but he is in doggie heaven and will always has a place in my heart, just like your baby will:) Jackson:aimeeyork Gracie:aimeeyork Tucker:aimeeyork Rosey:aimeeyork |
I am so very sorry for your loss. I lost Max last November to a coyote and was devastated - he was so much a part of our lives. Let yourself grieve however you need to. 3 weeks after he died, my husband had some friends who had just had a littler of yorkies and they talked us into coming over just to look, well, Abby licked my nose and I decided then and there I still wanted a furbaby in my life. We brought her home a few months later. She has her own personality and has not replaced Max, but has brought us so much joy. Please don't spend time feeling guilty, I went over and over the scenario in my mind - what I should have done if I could change things, but it only caused more pain. All you can do now is honor your baby's memory and love your new puppy. Jackie |

I'm so sorry for your loss. Heavenly peace to you, Baby Girl and hugs to your mommy. |
I am so sorry for your loss. Accidents happen so quick. Mya will help you with your greiving. Hugs |
All I can say is Im terribly sorry and I dont want to imagine losing any of my furbabies and even worse witnessing their death. The only advice I can honestly give is to make sure that your furbaby wears a harness everytime she goes outside to potty. My husband doesnt seem to mind to let Cookie our 4 yr old ,walk outside with him to the driveway without a harness! This is something that I DONT allow and I flipped out when I saw him just run out after my husband. It is a pain to have to put a harness or collar everytime on him but I keep imagining that something like this can happen to anyone. So I put a collar on him or a harness. There is no other puppy that can replace your little girl but it may ease your comfort in the days ahead. These little furballs STEAL your heart immediately.
