The Poopanut got locked outside! Omgosh! I went out to water my plants and I guess S'anah ran out behind me and I didn't see her. Well, I got done and came in and closed the door. I noticed it was kind of quiet, but I just figured she went and crawled in bed with DS and went to sleep. Then I heard a funny a noise and scratching on the back door. She looks like she had a grand ol' time outside. She is filthy! I am just glad she is OK. Anything could have happened. She could have gotten hurt, been kidnapped, just ANYTHING! You can bet I will be paying a LOT more attention now when the doors are opened. Thank god it was the back door that led to the fenced in back yard and not the front door! |
Aw sorry she scared you but sounds like she was enjoying herself. I'm so worrieda bout something happening to Leo I only let him in the back yard when I'm there with him. No matter how long he wants to run and play I sit out and watch until he is finished. |
Thats what I usually do with the Poopanut too. I honestly didn't see her slip out the door though. Sneaky little girl! I am just thankful she is OK and that it was just in the backyard and she didn't slip out the front door! |
Leo got out the front door about a week ago and we chased him all over the place even had neighbors chipping in to catch him.. I was scared at the time, but when it was over we laughed at the 20 minute run he had us on |
Glad she was ok. 2 weeks ago I had left the house and about 45 minutes later my dtr called and said I just pulled into the driveway and Maya, my 11 year old pom was laying on the driveway. We have no ides how she got out, I can only guess she slipped out when I left, which is so unlike her and I didn't see her. I about had a heart attack. fortunatley she is use to being with me out front and doesn't leave our property, but she is never out alone. Now every time I leave the house I do a head count to make sure all 4 are in as I leave. |
