About Gina's private parts
 
Whenever I take little Gina to the doggie park I catch her on her back and another back is licking her private part. Is this normal for yorkies to do? Is it bad for Gina? Any help out there would be helpful...tks...Boobah and Gina

Yes, it's normal. I don't see why it would be bad but I still usually say enough or something and stop it. It's normal dog behavior but makes us humans uncomfortable. At least it does me....

I wouldn't call the behavior unusual but I would be concerned about having strange dogs get so 'up close and personal'.

LOL, with this title your thread should get lots of attention!:p She's just being submissive and honestly I don't know why dogs like to show so much attention to other dogs' private parts but they sure do. They can be a little embarrassing can't they?

Both of my males are very submissive and flop belly up any time they meet another dog.

Yeah, Gina is too much! At first she concerned me but then I realized she was just another dog. Others at the doggie park told me I had nothing to worry about. But hey, when its your dog you do get a little perked! LOL:eek:

Yeah, I know what you mean. I named her Gina after my aunt who loved yorkies. She had 8 in her lifetime. :eek:
