BAD Yorkie Help! I've had teddy about 3 months now and when we left we never had ANY problems at all.. until now. We came home one day and he dug in the trash, chewed up the box we gave him to stand on, today we come back from the doctors and he chewed up cd cases, got into a bag (his bag) that I left on the floor(it had treats in it and I forgot), AND chewed up our two day old nunchuck for our wii. He has PLENTY of chew toys and until recently, the past few weeks he was never destroying anything. he leaves tv wires and computer wires alone. Anyone have any advice because if he goes after another expensive item, I swear I'll have to sell him because I'll be living with my parents while my husband is deployed and I don't want him to ruin their nice stuff. |
Check his teeth, my Krissy at three months chewed everything all of a sudden and the vet found to loose teeth in the rear and said she was most likely trying to remove them with chewing everything. We actually were able to pull them out with our hands and she stopped chewing everything. It may not be your problem but it is worth checking. |

He is either teething or he is PO'ed that you are leaving him! Some dogs just do not like to be left alone and they think if they are bad and make messes them mommy won't leave! Get a baby gate and gate off a area where he will be safe. |
7 months is not to old. My Kayla lost her last teeth at about 9 months. |
Prove that it was him !!! lol |

lol well I was dealing with traffic in norfolk with my husband and he was left alone and we left the nunchuck by the tv(put the rest of the controls ontop of the tv) and came back to destruction. We were gone 4 hours. he doesn't like being left alone but he needs to get use to it. When i come back I always take him outside on a good walk since he was inside and he has PLENTY of room to move around and we leave the tv on for some nice noise for him. But if he chews up a wire to our wii.. I will be so mad and if he chews up a computer wire he'll probably die from electricution. |
