I need suggestions I am going to get my new puppy on Tuesday. It will be about an hour and a half drive back with her. I need suggestions on what to have handy to take for th ride. THANKS!!!! |
You will need to have water for the puppy and a crate to bring it home in. I would not advise feeding as it may get car sick. Good luck on your new baby! |
Bring a towel just in case your new baby gets sick. A blanket to put in the crate and a toy would be nice. Bring water too :) |
Car Ride Let see...I would bring a bowl for a drink. A crate/carrier of some sort. Blanket to snuggle in. Paper towels/wipes in case he gets car sick. Leash/collar if he has to pee. Maybe he can go that long??? Aiden is good for about and hour or so. How exiting for you. Enjoy and have fun with him.:animal-pa |
I'd give puppy a dollap of nytrical before the trip home. Hope the next few days flies by for you...the waiting takes FOREVER. :D |

You can give a 1/4 tsp of youget to help with car sickness before you begin your trip. It helps to settle the stomach. And as said before: don't forget the camara. you never know when a good shot will pop up. |

Even though we may like the radio cranked up, might want to keep it on low. I agree water, travel crate, and towel/blanket. Nutrical can be purchased at Petco, usually under $10 bucks. The leash and harness are a good idea if you need to make a rest stop. Otherwise you may need to clean the car. Don't forget to chat with your pup on the drive home. It will probably be the first time she/he hears your voice. The pup is probably just as nervous as you. Good luck and God bless. |
