attention getters i was just wondering what yall's fur babies do to get your attention? other than barking! lol odie sneezes at me...and i mean multiple times...its cute! and definitely works hehe |
Thats hilarious because Marley does the same thing!!! And now that Bob has been around her for a month he is starting to imitate that also!! :p |
If I'm on YT...lol, she puts both front paws on my leg, whimpers (doesn't bark), cocks her head to the side, gives me those sad eyes...........& of course, I can't resist!:D |
Fritzel runs around like a mad man. He also stands up and digs at my legs when I am sitting down. Then when I look at him he barks. |
Jewels puts her paws on your leg and looks up at you. Chachi talks yorkineese and if that doesnt work he barks and crys |

How cute! I used to have a little chihuahua that did that, too. If I'm sitting on the floor with her, she will sometimes walk up to me and hit me with her paw to get my attention or she'll sit there and woof at me! She'll do that if I start watching tv instead of playing with her.:D |
if im sitting or laying on a couch or standing or something, then she will stand on her hinds and put her front hands on me. if i dont feel her then she will start kinda like "digging" on my leg.... but if i somewhere she cant reach me like a high bed, then she will do the same except she will dig the side of the bed. SHE WONT BARK THO!! well wen we are sleeping and my mom or step dad gets home late, she will wake me up by stampeding me or lickin or barking so i can open the door to let her see who's home  |
Jamie bounces with his front paws on my leg while he barks and his back paws never come off the couch. Its like he's trying to "push" me to get my attention. If that doesn't work he jumps up on your shoulder or the back of the couch and leans on your shoulder and attacks your face with kisses. |
Layla threatens to bark lol... she looks at me with mean eyes and woofs really quietly. If I continue to ignore it she will bark for real, but to start she just likes to tell me "I want your attention but I'm not going to waste my voice on it quite yet" She scratches at this box near her food and water bowls when she is hungry, or thirsty and almost out of water (smart dog!). I come running every time. Now that she has me figured out, she will scratch and when I come out her food is full, her water is full, and she just wags her tail and goes darting between the legs of the kitchen table and chairs so that I will chase her. |
Mufasa will bark at me or he will bring me one of his toys as if to say "hey mom, let's play". He's so stinkin cute! |
Bella will do this low growl/groan. If that doesn't work she will dig at my leg or thigh. If I am sitting down she will bite my shirt and tug on it repeatedly. That usually works because I am laughing by then!:p What a demanding little diva! Lol! Our babies sure know how to get our attention. They are all just so adorable.:p |
My Kayla and Mandy who are not related both use the left paw to tap on my arm or leg to get my attention. It is so cute like hey, here I am. If I ignore they it gets more urgent and harder. Teddy puts his head on my lap and snorts to get attention. |
Max walks over looks up at me the goes and sits at the door, then looks back at me, till I open it. He drops his toys at my feet, when he wants to play. Don't laugh, he sticks his tongue out if he wants something to eat or drink. If someone is near the house he barks and makes low growling noises. Then runs back and forth looking at us until we go look. Max has also learned he can howl. He doesn't like it if either my husband or I go out. The other day, he was whimpering, when all of a sudden he howled. It was so funny, he looked at me as if to say "what was that", then he tried it again, looked at me, then did it again. He hasn't done it again :(, so my husband hasn't heard it. |
