Travel I was wondering for all that have traveled on an airplane with there baby if there was anything that the vet gives them for them to sleep on the plane? I have read on another board there is something vets give them to make them sleep? Any ideas. I also herd there is an all natural product? Being a new mom to my Yorkie I am not sure if this is safe? Any ideas? |
I asked Gracie's vet about this the first time she flew. She's flown many times by now. The vet asked how she travelled in a car---Gracie does great in a car, and the vet felt she'd also do great on a plane. She was right--Gracie just slept the whole way across the country and didn't make a peep. But, the vet said if she was nervous or upset, I could give her 1/2 of a children's benadryl. |
It is really better not to give them anything to make them sleep while traveling. If the puppy is stressed you will need to be able to identify the symptoms and react. The puppy will do fine--bring a chew toy and a blanket for your baby. |
