Petsmart Grooming Chop Job: Beware ... Just picked up our Jasmine to find out she got the "summer buzz" what is with these people in petsmart??? Annoyed isn't even the word to explain it ... just can't wait for it to grow back, and never go back to petsmart again ... :thumbdown |
:( I think if I ever went there I would never leave my dog there. I went once and it was wonderful, but that seems like a rare occurrence. Just today when we went and the groomer was man handling the dog until she realized I was watching. So I stayed there until she was done and the owner came. The owner wasn't too happy, but thanked me for staying. :) |
:( thats just crazy. thanks 4 posting this i wont be goin there! |

I must be one of the few people who have had good experiences with Petsmart grooming. Her cuts have always been what I have asked for. Gypsy has no problem being left there that I can tell. They always tell me she is a real charmer and they love to groom her any time. The only problem I have is that I do not think they trim her nails short enough, so I have the vet do that. |

I have went to several different PetSmart places in different towns. Still no difference I hate it. I haven't went back. I had maybe 2 cuts that was fine and then the rest was a mess. They don't do what you ask and again yes they don't cut the nails hardly at all. But guess that is better than cutting them too short. I think all these people are in training and let me tell you they need to find another job. |
I was under the impression that it all had to do with the groomer .But, Maybe, Petsmart just does not have experienced groomers to work on long haired breeds. ? Iam sorry they messed up your Yorkies cut. |
I think that's all they train them to do. I figure I may not to a great job grooming them myself, but at least I am not paying for it and I won't ever shave them. This seems to happen all the time I just don't understand why they can't follow directions. |
