PAWS & Laws; Registry's Position Statements, AKC Campaign Trips, Chairman's Report, what does it mean to YOU?

Most of us brush off things we don't want to deal with. Human nature. We believe what we want to believe. Sometimes we even believe cable news! But please, If you think you already know about PAWS, or like me, you took a quick read and it sounded okay, you are in for an unpleasant surprise.

PAWS only affects YOU. Not the already regulated commercial breeders and puppy mills! Do you co-breed? Take donations for rescue? Do you care if AKC and federal agencies look at your checking account, your "sales" records?

Did you know about the NY Times ad campaign for PAWS? That the AKC President/CEO is on the campaign trail with Senator Santorum? Read the law the way other registry's Legal and Legislative experts read it. You don't have to read between the lines, you just have to read the ACT itself, not what HSUS, DDAL and AKC say it says! PAWS is the most threatening legislation ever to confront pet owners and hobby breeders. No, it isn't sensationalism, this is for real, it is here. If PAWS passes, it is the end of the fancy as we know it.

Paws was originally set up to fight against puppy mills, animal abuse, rescue, but it has grown so and seemed to have grown branches.
