Lost Dog - Please Help Me Find Him! I'm a member of the HomeAgain PetRescuers - Microchip System. I was e-mailed this flyer this morning for the return of their lost male Yorkie named Charlie. :cry8: So what can I do to help another pet owner? Tell as many people as possible! HomeAgain™ PetRescuers Member Guide: As a HomeAgain PetRescuer, there are quick, easy steps you can take to ensure the safety and welfare of a lost pet. If you are comfortable approaching the pet, first check for forms of identification. If the owner's contact information is on the tag, call the owner immediately and tell them the location of their pet. If there is no owner contact information available (or if you cannot reach the owner), call 1-888-HOME-AGAIN (888-466-3242) to report the found pet to the HomeAgain Proactive Pet Recovery Network. HomeAgain dispatchers will help guide you through the process of reporting and reuniting a lost pet with his or her owner. You are not required to approach the pet or take it into your home or yard. If you decide to take a pet into your care, here are some suggestions: 1. Segregate the pet from your other animals. 2. Provide food and water. 3. Check for signs of injury. 4. Monitor the pet's activity periodically while he/she remains with you. For more about HomeAgain and pet recovery, visit HomeAgain.com. Let's Bring Him Home! |
Praying that Charlie is found safely and very soon. How frightening. |
Heart Breaking Yes.. I now it is frightening. I lost both of my cats within 2 weeks of each other once and I was a messed up wreck!!! This is what made me want to help them find Charlie. I later found out that my cats were attacked by Mountain Lion's. It took me many years before I could get anymore pets and now no one is aloud outside. I would be inconsolable if I lost Ms. Lola. I think they would have to sedate me. |
Hopefully the poor baby will get picked up by someone that will post a ad. |
:( PRAYING for Charlie's Quick, Safe Return!! :hands: |

Ill keep an eye out in case he makes it this far..Im in Sac so Concord is a little ways away...but you never know. |
I'll send a prayer for his safe return. I hope he wasn't another victim of a coyote attack. The fires have chased a lot of them closer to towns. Let's all make doubly sure our fur kids are never out of sight for a moment. There are too many being stolen lately. With the economy in such bad shape it's caused the crime rate to rise. |
