Hello Everyone....
 

My name is Jennifer, Im 27 living in Northern New Jersey and I work in Construction Sales. Im getting my first Yorkie TODAY!!!:aimeeyork:thumbup::D As you can see Im very excited. So excited in fact that I wish I had taken the day off being that I am of no use to the company today because my mind is only on those first kisses from my new baby girl Lola!

My first dog was a male beagle named Kiki. He was with us for 6years unfortunately he passed in 96' due to complications with Epilepsy. Losing that dog was very traumatic for me and my family. No one wanted another dog after him. I dont think any of us have really gotten over the loss. But for the past couple of years I have been trying to convince the fam that Kiki would want us to give another doggie the same luv we gave him. :cry:

So now that Ive moved back with my parents and things are going great so far Im going to surprise my father with a precious little grandbaby girl. Its been so long since we've had in animal in the house and now I think is the perfect time. My mom knows and she actually pushed me to get her which is funny cuz she's alittle afraid of dogs...(she kinda scared of Kiki too, but she got use to him and I think he knew she was scared and took it easy on her)

After this long introduction, I'd like to say hello and that I hope to make some new friends here on YorkieTalk. :)

Welcome to YT and congrats on your new baby girl! I cannot wait to see pics of her. I know what you mean about not doing anything at work because you're excited about the new baby.

Also, so sorry for the loss of Kiki. I lost one baby and the pain is still there. I guess it really never goes away. They still own that piece of your heart regardless.

So make sure you over dose up with pics!

congrats on the new baby..and welcome new friend!..I am fairly new as well I have been on here one whole week..lol i just got my baby Riley Blue on july 2nd..so i know what yor going through..tell you boss your sick..lol...cuz you have a new boss now!;)

Welcome to YT, Jennifer. I'm sorry about the loss of Kiki. It hurts a lot. I'm certain you have lots of love to give a little furbaby and it sounds like the perfect household for spoiling one rotten, too.:)
