We think most likely an error was made somewhere along the line or there was some confusion somewhere. At no point did Baby Blessing try to deceive anyone with the picture they used, nor did they try to sell a Yorkie or do anything malicious at all. There is a big difference between using a picture (which looks just like your Yorkie) as an avatar (and what Baby Blessing apparently did), versus trying to use the picture for nefarious purposes or to deceive anyone.

my I just want this to all work out in the end after rereading everything and now admin has spoke. I don't even know what to say and to who to say it too :(

This type of drama is why I rarely post (or even logon) to YT anymore.

Well I posted on the other thread.. not knowing who anyone was.. but I just think it needs to be settled.. and I do not think we can settle anything for any one else.. who ever both parties are hope all get sorted out..

I posted as to me as others it looked like some one posted a pics of another members yorkie.. that was my take.. not knowing the person..
So many new people come on here.. so many are great and then you get the odd one that posts that upsets people..other then that.. if I said anything our of place I am sorry for that..

I am only going to post once in this thread and this is ALL I am gonna say here. This has NOTHING to do with Patti OR Jerry or even YT in general really, but I just want to say this.

My hubby actually banned me from this site a couple of weeks ago because of some very strange PM's that I was getting. He does IT work and is a computer whiz so he knows how to do all this stuff. After having YT withdrawals and lots of begging, he let me back on, LOL. He watches everything very carefully though...

PEOPLE - this is the INTERNET and no matter HOW MUCH you think you really "KNOW" someone - you don't. MOST of us here aren't "friends" in REAL, every day life (some are, but most - no). It is all too easy to become comfortable with someone that you talk to daily on here, but who REALLY knows who is on the other side of the computer screen, and what they are up to or what their intentions are. It is WAY too easy for us to be overly trusting...and that can be dangerous, plain and simple. Not only here on YT, but on ANY online forums/message boards.

Just because someone is nice and you FEEL like you "KNOW" them, and can trust them, doesn't mean that you can. All I am saying is to BE CAREFUL. People can act one way online and be the TOTAL OPPOSITE in real life.

I say, keep your personal information as private as possible and don't go around sharing everything with everyone...be nice, courteous and respectful, but don't be too trusting - and I know that is hard because we do like to think of everyone here as our true friends....but the God's honest truth is, YOU NEVER KNOW.

I said the same thing a while back and got totally trashed by people thinking that I was being very cynical and that people on this site felt very real, emotional connections with folks on this site that they had never met. Glad to see that people are finally facing reality - this is the Internet - nothing is as it seems to be.

Thank you for the reality check :D The drama with the puppy pic. is frustrating, and a shame. However, it is over, and it's time for everyone to move on.
We get that sense of faulse security on the internet which in turn can lead to serious mistakes.

as I continue to look into the matter...i am thinking that there was an honest mistake somewhere...if you go back to her original post in the link thread...she never once talked about that picture...she only talked about the 1st and 3rd picture...so maybe we are all jumping the gun when really it was an honest mistake...

Brooke, I agree with you 100%. We can't be too careful. When we only know someone from dealings online, we just don't know.

Not until you have met those people in person - do you start to have an understanding of who they are.

It is time to stop investigating and posting speculation. At least two members have been terribly hurt. Jerry and Patty. I know Jerry personally and "know" Patty by her posts. I refuse to believe that this whole situation is anything but a mistake and that further speculation will only serve to hurt both Jerry and Patty.

I believe that the pic belongs to jer_lin and that some how Patti got get thinking it realy truely was her baby girl. and she had it so long with her own pictures that she really believes its her. Thats what I think. Patti is a sweet honest person she would never take anyones pictures.
I think maybe long ago she thought wow that looks just like my baby and maybe showed Jack then forgot about it and it got to be with her own pictures and she forgot. :confused:

The Yorkies in the pictures in question REALLY DO look similar. Without looking deeply, one could easily confuse the Yorkies. Since there was still discussion on this matter, we searched the attachments posted by Baby Blessing and found this picture, which looks like it would be for her avatar. We are unable to find the exact thread which Baby Blessing posted the picture in, the attachments search does not show in which thread the attachment is from, it just shows the actual attachments. But this picture below WAS attached by Baby Blessing on March 29, 2006.

We do not know if there was a mixup with Baby Blessing or with red98vett, but the next time the picture appeared was here:

which is dated March 28, 2006 with red98vett stating that it is Baby Blessing in that picture. Baby Blessing may have used that as her avatar since that date, and jer_lin only noticed it last week.

Again, we think there was a mixup somewhere and there was no ill intent on anyone's behalf. We hope this situation is now over and this thread is now closed.
