Update I have tried to hold off on Rosie going to a rescue for a few days. Just in hopes that someone on YT would want her. There are two rescues will to take her in and find her a forever home, im so thankful for that. Today I was posting about a little male is is headed for the dog pound soon if noone take shim. its in the general forum if anyone wants to read it. Well back to Rosis, I got message today and someone here is willing to take in this sweet little girl so lets all pray that it all works out and that Rosie has found her forever home, I wont tell you the members name just yet, Ill let her come on and post. Thank you hun and bless your heart. I hope it all works out and you get her. |
I talked to the breeder tonight and as long as I can get her down here she's mine!! I need a yt train, ya'll!! |

I really hate to say this but this seems more like a rescue operation then a breeder retiring one of her bitches. Why was she going to rescue if no one took her? |

I dont believe in rehoming a dog after they are done breeding and are no longer any use for their breeding program. I think its sad. but breeders do do this and Im just wanting to help this baby find a good forever home. |
Sorry I dont have all the answers, as this is not my Yorkie, all I know is that this female was used for breeding and now she is not able to breed and needs a good home, she deserves to live out her years as a pet. so thats why Im helping to find her a good home. The person who plans on getting her has talked to the breeder so Im sure shes asked all the questions she needs answered when she talked to her. all I can do is pass on what i do know and thats only what the breeder has told me. |
I still think not spaying her before she leaves is just nuts and not the most responsible. Rosie has made the breeder $$ the least se could do for this girl is take care of her medical needs before she leaves, a spay and a dental are not super expensive. Less then the cost of 1 puppy. Shes had multiple litters. Why you ask? I took in a breeder retired girl She came to me with a pyometria. I saved her life. If she was spayed before she left this would of NEVER happened. Im sorry if I sound bitchy but remembering the little girl that appeared healthy almost died if I didnt catch what was going on with her. That little dog was my everything |
I guess at this point its pointless to wonder why, this isnt my dog. I know I shouldnt even care but I do. But a message to her new owner. SPAY HER ASAP! Please! |

Im not directing this at you.. Just frustrated with irresponsible breeders. Once the cash crop runs dry, time to get rid of her and stick someone else with the burden of spaying and taking care of the problem. Im sure Rosie is going to have a wonderful rest of her life and be pampered like she should be and not gotten rid of because she isnt reproducing anymore. I would be concerned now because the breeder may continually call on you to fix her problems. She wanted to play breeder she shouldnt be calling one of her puppy buyers to help find homes for her dogs. |
