Does anyone have a ticklish Yorkie?
 
When we are petting Wrigley and if you go down her back with your nails, her whole body quivers, she's so ticklish!
She just started doing this in the last couple of months, does this happen to anyone else?

Jewels is if I scratch her down by her tail her leg twitches.

I think every dog I've ever had has that "sweet spot" where it makes one of the legs twitch.
I've never seen like this with Wrigley though! It's like her whole body quivers like when you get a chill and your body shakes and it's doing it every time you run your nails down her back.
We called the vet and boy do you feel like you are nuts trying to explain this to ask if something is wrong! :p He humors us though and said some dogs are ticklish, like people!

Roxie does this too. It's so funny. I'll be scratching or massaging her back and it's like her whole skin wiggles! It is just like those shivers you get. She also does that when her back leg starts going, just when you scratch just the right spot!! They're such funny little things. Always entertaining. I could watch her all day and not get tired of it.:D

My sweetie loves her belly rubs. But when I ask her " are you ticklish?" she starts kicking her legs back and forth while shes on her back. Its cute what dogs pick up when you say the same thing over and over.


If I scratch her where her leg meets her hip her leg wiggles. I think thats her spot. :)

Ok, that sounds just like Wrigley! I'm glad she's not the only one! :)
I could watch them all day long too, they are pure entertainment!!

Kacee loves, loves, loves for me to get her down on her back on the floor and tickle her belly. Her mouth will be open and her head rolls from side to side and it looks just like she's laughing. If I stop, she'll continue to lay there on her back waiting for more. It's something we do about every night. It's so funny. We have so much fun together.:D
