Baby Teeth Hello everyone! I have a just turned 5 month old male. I noticed that other day that some of his teeth are missing. Is this normal? Also, when I feed him, (hard dog food), he sometimes get the food caught in his throat. Is that because he can't properly chew it up? If so, what food should I feed him since he is missing teeth. My baby looks sad:( Someone, please let me know what to do..... |
yes they teeth usually starting around then. its okay but he might be in pain just like when babies teeth. Maybe you could try wetting his food so its not so hard for him. give him a little nutrical to boost him u. |
They do lose their baby teeth about that age. With Roxie her adult canines came in and she never lost the baby teeth (something you should watch for). When she went to the vet to get spaid they removed those baby teeth while she was already out. Make sure your baby has lots of chewies around for teething, it helps keep them from chewing up everything else in the house! |
Thanks for the advice. I really didn't know what to do. Also, is he at an age to be neutered? I noticed last week he raised his leg to pee. He doesn't do it all of the time. I have seen him do it twice. And when he is neutered, would I need to be at home w/him. Will it hurt him, if so, how long? I have so many questions. I love my Mickey "Mac". He's so adorable....I will post pics later this week. Oh, by the way, he is changing colors:confused: He has gone from black and tan to grayish/white and tan in the face and on top of his head. He still have some black, but you can see the gray underneath. Is he going to change his colors all together? You guys can tell I am new at this!!!!! |
