finally a pic of Riley Blue 3 Attachment(s) Here is a pic of our Riley Blue...He was so sick when we got him 3 days ago..but im happy to say the antibiotics seem to be working..he is feeling much better..he is playing and coughing very little now, and i think he has even picked up a little weight already..I do have a question tho..when are you supposed to give then nturi cal, I picked up some but Im not sure how often to give it to him..well let me know what you think..he is 14 weeks old. |
Aww he is such a cutie!!!! Congrats! I'm glad he is feeling better! |
Hi, and a big welcome to you and Riley. Sorry to see that he was ill when you got him but glad he's feeling better. If he's eating well, he shouldn't need much Nutri-cal but a dab on your finger between meals wouldn't hurt, especially since he's been ill. It's good for a boost but shouldn't be given regularly to a healthy dog as it can cause a sugar spike in their blood. :aimeeyork :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa :) |
Oh, he looks like the SWEETEST little guy. I'm so glad he's feeling better. I have my little one Nutrical, also, when he was small because he was prone to hypoglycemia. You can give it to him as a daily suppliment to his diet, if he is not eating well. It gives them extra calories and sugar so their blood sugar doesn't take a dive. (My vet eventually had me put just a little Kyro syrup in his water daily for this same reason -- it dissolves well in water -- but I did not do this at the same time I was giving Nutrical). You may just want to do the Nutrical until he gets over the hump of adjusting to his new surroundings, in case you are having trouble getting him to eat. Good luck with your new sweetie! |
I am glad to hear Riley is feeling better. |

thank you all for your kind words. I do have another question..everyone might think this is silly but I have to ask because I just dont know...lol...I see the topknot and the bows on a lot of the dogs..now is that just for the girls or do you do that on the boys too..or are you supposed to keep their hair cut on the top? im sorry to to sound like such a dork...but i couldnt find that answer no matter where i looked..lol |
Such a sweet little face. Congrats and I am glad he is doing better. |

Your Riley is very cute.:D I am glad he is feeling better. He looks good! :aimeeyork |
Aw what a sweetie |
I love the hair on my little boy being long. I just pull it back in a rubber band. He would have a bow, if he would leave it there, but he won't. He's your baby, you fix his hair however you want to. I'm convinced that bows are 100% acceptable! |
