wood cleaner?? ok i remember some posts about how we have to be careful when cleaning the house. my mom is using some wood cleaner on the floors. i have abby locked up in her cage while she watches her do it. wat r we supposed to do so abby doesnt ingest it or get it stuck on her paws??? do we go over it with water or do we just wait till its completely dry? |
I use murphy's soap to clean my hardwood floors. As with all cleaners you can just crate them and then when it dries let them loose. |
I know for sure that swiffer is bad for pet. It have cause liver failure on some dogs and cat.. |
I just use 1 tablespoon of lemon juice with 2 tablespoons of olive oil to clean wood surfaces |

:yelrotflm Thanks for letting me know |
What cleaner does everyone use for tile? Also is Frebreeze (sp?) bad for animals? |
As far as I know febreeze is not harmful to animals. I wouldn't spray it ON them :P but I think it's fine for them to be around it. I mean after all - they show the woman spraying it on the doggy bed, right? :? We sometimes use pourable lysol for the floors but most of the time we use Johnsons and Johnsons floor cleaner. But we make sure it's rinsed really well. I think a good rule of thumb would be to only put on your floors what you yourself would be comfortable walking in or laying in... If it irrtitates your hands or feet, make sure it's thouroghly dry before your animals walk in it.. Like w/ bleach - rinse well and let dry before animals or you touch it. :-) |
