I am so sorry about your little Sal!!!!! I hope he recovers ok. I am just sickened (the only nice word I can think of ) that there are human beings out there that have this kind of sick, demented kind of behavior in them!!!! Thank you for warning others. {{{{{{{{{{Sal}}}}}}}}}} |
Oh Cathi, I am so sorry. This has been my greatest fear. I live in an older neighborhood with a lot of stable people who want to live in this area, so most folks stay around here and I know them, but the house behind me is a big dutch colonial that has been made into a duplex with renters and the house to one side that has kind of this crazy man in it. I've been afraid that someone would be bothered by the dogs barking at squirrels or something and try to harm them I am so glad Sal is home. How about some chicken or yogurt mixed with the food the vet gave him. I'm assuming this food is suppose to help his body heal from this experience. Prayers for you and Sal. May the creep who did this be caught |
Hope Sal gets well soon. Poor little guy. :( I just can't wrap my mind around why anyone would do something like that! Sick-Os. |
OMG... That is just awful.... I swear people don't have brains anymore.. I hope your baby gets well soon... |
Since you mainly need him to eat right now, consider some of the cheap food they love like Caesar's or top with grated cheese. Warming it up a little often helps, and so does handfeeding. Gizmo will often get hungry after eating a few hand fed to him. I have to fling a few in the air and then he starts playing and eating. Yogurt helps and cottage cheese too. Vitamin K is really important though. Vital really. Gizmo had injections and then a pill to take every day. If you're not doing that, you need to contact your vet asap. Poor baby! :( |
VitaminK Get him vitamin K ASAP. MY squirrel, who I raised and let go behind my building at work, immediately got into a rat trap he was not supposed to fit in. Luckily he dropped the left over cube on the steps. I have a great pest guy who said 'get him to the vet fast and get him Vit. K So I did and he was fine. I had two beloved dogs who were caught in a very unfortunate situation where they did not have a healthy life. They ran free because I had no place to keep them. They were both poisoned in a two month period while I was struggling to go to school. This, of course, tore my heart out and makes me cry today. Why don't people realize the pain they cause people when they take the law of the world into their hands? My pups NEVER hurt anyone, they just made me happy - heaven forbid. Melissa and Rambeau (wish I'd known Morgan and Sage momma says they were the sweetest ever!) |
I pray that Sal will recover from this...and I pray they catch who ever did this. Mindless, senseless behavior. |
There are some truly demented people out there. I am sorry that your baby has to deal with their mental issues. How horrid! I hope he is feeling better soon. And you too. I know you must be so very worried. |
People like that should be given the same thing they dish out! Thats why i love animals way more than people. |
I am so glad that Sal is home. It is awful that someone would do that:mad: I hope he will make a full recovery, and be ok. :aimeeyork |
