Lily is having her puppies! She had a little girl at 4:15am, 4oz. But the others have not come out yet. Not the placenta either. No more contractions. Any suggestions? Lily seems happy. Puppy feeding. |
PLease take her to the vet..... |
When you researched before her delivery, how long did it say she could go between puppies before being concerned? May be best to take her to the vet. |
How many was she due to have? Vet sounds like a good idea........ |
There are 3. I can hear the heart beats of the others. Lily is not having any more contractions. I will call the vet. |

Please call the vet and let us know what happens. Good luck to you and Lily~ |
it sounds like it has been too long...please take her to the vet! |
Is she having any contrations yet? If shes not having any she may be resting in between pups. Give her some calsorb to help her if you have it. Vanilla ice cream will also help stimulate her muscle contractions. It can take 4 hours in between pups. I do suggest talking to your vet she may need help with the puppies. Is this her first litter? The placenta needs to come out it can block the path for the next pup to be born. |
Just checking in to see if theres an update? Did you call the vet? What did they say? Please update us! Thanks and good luck, I hope everything is ok. |
Congrats on the first little girl. Hope things are progressing with the others. |
