Washable wee wee pads Hi,can anyone give me instuctions on washing reusable wee wee pads I've heard people use vinegar for the smell is this true????How is it used?? Thanks |
I wash them in the washing machine with regular laundry soap, no softener, bleach or anything else. I wash in cold or warm, and hang dry. I never have odor problems. |
I prewash them in 20 Mule Team Borax, then add a little bit of bleach to the wash water. I tried Oxyclean, but could still smell the urine. |
washing I wash mine in warm water with Tide and some Clorox bleach and then I toss in the dryer. They always smell fresh and clean when they are done. |
I do a prewash and then a regular wash with regular detergent and warm water. No bleach or fabric softeners. I don't usually have a problem with smell. If I do (rarely) then I will put a little OdoBan in the last rinse and that takes care of it. |
Thank you!!!for your replies. |
I use arm & hammer soap and wash in warm cold rinse and ues a dtyer sheet and never have any smell :) |

I use Tide w/ Bleach Alternative and then use a little vinegar in the rinse cycle. |
Hi, I have to rince mine before, I made them and I put a plastic material on the back of them.... and with the front load washer it doesn't always come out without the smell.... try different approach and take the best one!:) |
