Just too cutee!! You goo baby boy!! Congrats Kathy...:) And i donnou what was up with the judge, but i would love to get a kiss from him!! |
Wow- no wrapping and so many titles so young- sounds like he was born to be a champion! He is gorgeous. I bet he would produce some beautiful babies! I looked on your site, also. I love Reggie! Is that the typical look of pups that Rowdie produces? You should be very proud of your group! Tell the hubby that you probably should get another female- just to make sure!! Congrats to your son by the way- what an accomplishment! Hopefully he can get some good scholarships playing at such a large high school. (LOL! Can you tell I'm about to pay my college loan payments for the month!!) |

Oh those college payments hurt- my daughter is in her third year- she transfered from a expensive private school to a state school (Purdue). We got more in grants when she attended the private college and lived at home that costs more then attending the state college that costs less with her living on campus- go figure. I do not understand this world. I sure hope that he can produce some nice babies. My old mentors taught me not put all my puppies in one basket- that is why I will use him on at least three gals and see if I can see uniformity in the puppies. Want to see his stamp. he looks very much like his mom gabby- and gabby looks very much like her dad "POW" Don't tell Reggie but he is not that pretty of a puppy. I would not place him with someone who wanted a show puppy- To me he is too small would make a wonderful pet for someone- or would work for a breeder who wants to bring the size down in her yorkies. Thank you for seeing his good points. I have had a hard time letting him go- the right home has not came around yet. His little bottom will stay here until I find the right one. Even though he teaches the younger puppies bad things. He has a bad boy attitude- that makes you want to laugh at everyting he does- he is quite the class clown. |
He is just gorgeous and making quite a showing at a young age!!! Congradulations, you should be very proud! Good luck to you! |
He's a little doll baby! What a beauty! :p |
Hes gorgeous! :) |
Thank you Thank you to everyone for the nice comments and the encouragemnt on showing Buster. We just hope that he keeps all four feet on the floor this weekend- and does not think that leaping into the Judges arms will help him. Maybe we should check out agility next for the little putz. |
Your little man is beautiful !!!! 1 Attachment(s) How exciting !! Wonderful pixs. :) I will start Polyana in show in about two months as opportunity arrives. I have been working with her to get her ready and seems to be a natural. Have you consider showing him with the IABCA to get his international championship? :questione I think he would do great there as well!!! Keep us informed of all his wins. He is a keeper!!! I tried to attach Polyana's picture, but I can't figure it out, either :( |
Oh this is killing me!!! Gus is 3 months older and his hair was just as long as this beautiful baby before they had to shave him after his accident. It's been almost 3 months and it is growing. But VERY SLOWLY. |
WOW! His eyes are beautiful! he's definately the most handsome boy i've ever seen! ;) I'm sure he gets all the ladies! |
She's beautiful! Quote:
Oh my...she' so beautiful! Good luck! Francie |

There are international shows this fall- the game plan is to take him and Dixie and try for the international titles also. That is when we have a lag in the AKC shows in our area. We are also entering in the UKC shows for a chance at a CH. title in thier Sept. shows. Gets complicated keeping all the organizations straight. Good luck on showing Polyana. You are doing much better then me I had to have help to get my pictures posted. |

I am so sorry about your baby and having to shave him down. Just keep your chin up- his coat will be back before long. It is growing you are just to close to the situation to see that it is growing. I hope that Gus is ok at this time. |

Good Luck Buster !!! I have had the pleasure of meeting kathy in person and some of her kids 2 legged & 4 legged , she has taught me so much in the short time i have known her and i can not thank her enough, she has put up with my questions on numerose emails and if anyone deserves to win in the ring it's kathy and buster, i only know alittle of the obsticales that you have had thrown at you in your life and if anyone is deserving of lifes pleasures it's you. thank you for everything you have done for me and good luck to you and buster and your handler in the ring. oh and when buster becomes famouse maybe he will let rowdy become his body gaurd and then i can say yes i know kathy she taught me so much lol !!! good luck !!! lynne |
He is such a stud muffin! I agree he looks like best of show! Good luck with the coming show! |
Thank you Lynne- Thank you so much- It was my pleasure to have been there and to have tried to answer your questions. I feel that I got a lot more from you then I gave. It was wonderful to have made a new friend in you and your family. I thank you for placing your trust in me- and with luck next spring the pitter patter of little yokie feet will be heard all over your home. Abbie is such a sweatheart and has such a deep heart and soul- all you have to do is look in her big brown eyes and you can see how much love she gives and how much love you have given her. Thank you so much-you made me cry. |
What a handsome boy you've got!! He has a beautiful coat and big beautiful eyes!!! What a cutie!!! :D |
3 Attachment(s) He is a gorgeous little boy!!! He's a natural!! I have a question how on earth do you keep his coat that nice without wrapping. I have my baby that I want to show but she is so shy and hates the lead, any pointers??? Oh one more question how much do you pay on average to get him professionally handled?? I will attach 3 pics of my Whisper please ignore the toilet paper in the background lol... Smiles, :) Myra |
Absolutely gorgeous. Best wishes. |

He is a natural ham. We have sat ringside and watched him stare down the judges. I am very proud of him and Peggy his handler. She gets a lot of credit for the time and care she gives him also. All we are doing is using Mane N Tail shampoo and cheap old Sauve Conditioner. It has worked for us. No oiling, no wrapping of any kind. We don't brush or comb him ( or any of the other kids) dry either. He runs loose in the house- and goes outside and plays with all the other kids. I also do not completely dry him with the dryer as if not careful you can overdry the hair and cause split ends. I bath every three to four days depending on how he feels coat wise. The sauve has the tendancy to provide a protective layer on the coat due to its heavy nature. You really have to give a long rinse to get all of it out of the coats. I have suave mixed with water in a squirt bottle that I use on his belly in between the baths to help with the urine on his side/tummy coat. The only time I will clip him up on the sides with a barrett is the day of the show in case he gets urine on him. Peggy his handler uses this same method. Then I also adda little bit of Bacon grease to everyones food. Play show puppy with your little gal. Like yorkie Rose- we have several leads with the most of the length cut off. It is just enough to see that they have a lead around the neck and some to dangle. Play show puppy- place your show buppy want to be in the playpen and make them watch someone who walks on the lead working. They see all the attention, praise and goodies that lucky baby is getting. You would be suprised how it kills them that they are just watching- and then give their turn. Decide on your special treat for show puppy- something that they will die for- they can only have this treat for a good showpuppy workout. Start with the lead as soon as you can. I also use clicking noises- sound like a goof ball but the dogs like it. There are many more things that you can do- you just develop a style that works for you and make the alterations to make it fun for each dog. Handlers fees different all over- some can be over $100.00 a show. Boarding can run $15.00 a day- plus travel expenses. I am very lucky with Peggy. Many handlers will take more then one male or female of a breed at the same time. She will not unless the kids are all owned by the same person. This way my dogs/dog have her sole attention. At the present time she is charging $40.00 per show- and $3.00 a day for boarding- and the travel expenses are split between each owner who has a dog shown that day. She also shows Maltese, Poms, and Paps. I love the fact that I can take Buster to her the day of the show all cleaned up and she will just finish him and take him in and show. Buster also comes home a lot to us on down times. Peggy lives a little over an hour from us-so it is up to me how much time he spends at home and how much at boarding school. We have the same attitude-and styles so it works for us. Peggy is a sweet heart who has fun showing-and loves each of the dogs that she takes. She would make a lot more money if she would take more then one of the same sex/ or breed at a time- but that is not her style. Thank you for all the nice comments and the encouragement. |
Kathy~ I was just poking fun at the fact that you said you didn't really care for his "face" and that a friend or a "handler" I think suggested you give him another look. His "look" is very big here in California! It is mostly those huge eyes!!!! and the small ears and smaller nose, etc.!!! He is gorgeous and will look "just like a BABY" his entire life. :) |
I think the other one on your site that has even more of a babydoll face is Rowdy. He is looking up in the photo and it is hard to see what his face looks like completely but he looks adorabel as well. :D |
Wow! What a beautiful silk coat! She is precious. |

at show but there is alot more to a Yorkie than it's head. Look at these pictures!! Absolutely straight topline and perfect tailset. Can't see front and rear but what I go for too and this one has is beautiful silk coat and small ears (both recessive genes) so difficult to come up with. How old is this pup?? Once it color clears it should be something. The favorite question of anyone who shows and buying a pup "What is the quality of the gold" Is it nice?? From picture it does look nice. Love it! Love it !! Love it!! |
4 Attachment(s) That you so much for the tips wnalegria!!! Also thank you crystalsmom I think she is gorgeous but since she is my fiist show girl I have so many questions. lol. I will post a picture of her daddy which my breeder says she will look a whole bunch like but with darker colors. Her coat is so easy to maintain but the wrapping is what I can't get down so I like wnalegrias methods of maintaing the coat without wrapping. Oh and Whisper is 8 months old. Her ears are absolutly awesome thats what I love about her. I just hope I can get her out in the ring soon or find a good pro handler that doesn't break my bank lol. Smiles, :) Myra |

When I first looked at him and when I still look at him I think that he has huge ears- for the size of his face. It is always nice to have someone else look at your dogs and give you a different point of view. Someone else can see something that you just don't catch- or are so used to looking at that it just does not register in your brain. I am going to go back and look at Rowdy again. |
