Making YOU hold their bone for them?? Does anyone elses yorkies cry and cry until you hold their bone for them like Carson and Bailey do?? Right now Bailey has a bone in her mouth looking up at me and crying wanting me to hold it while she chews it. It's pretty annoying  |
Joey learned that crying doesn't work, so he throws the bully stick at us, it's kind of like a game of fetch cause I thow it back, I do give in quite often. |
Are you kidding? My lil piggie wont share with anyone! As soon as she gets a bully stick she is gone. she doesnt come back until it is a nub..lol |
Yes. Mine do. Sandy and TJ will bring the bones up and put them right in my hand, so I can hold them while they chew. :) They have me well trained. Dexter hasn't put it in my hand yet... but he lets me hold it when the others aren't around. LOL. When I get tired of doing that, I give it back to them and tell them "You have to hold it yourself..mom's tired." and they do. |
Kacee is one of those!:D |
Sophie makes me hold hers too. I think it is so funny. |
Mine does the same thing. She will bring it to me and put it in my hand to hold for her while she leisurely chews. |

Onni likes to have her chewy stick held while chewing. She is so cute that I can't say no. |
Yes, I frequently hold bones for Romeo too!! Do yours gently nub your hand with there nose to say "I want to chew the other end now"!! He does that and its so adorable!! He definitely has me trained;) |
Yes Gypsy does this. My Mum's last Yorkie also used to do it but she learnt she could wedge it between cushions on the sofa instead! |

Oh Wrigley does that too! In the beginning she did it because she couldn't figure out how to hold the bone and she would cry and whine like the two year old she now is. Now I think she's just spoiled and is lazy and she finds it easier to have us do part of the work for her! Camden poor thing can't get the holding part down either, but so far she isn't begging for us to hold it for her! I'm sure Wrigley will clue her in! |
yes I have Darcy one side and Willis the other, and a chew in each hand, Willis digs his nails into me while chewing his, I get dots all over my hand. |
Well I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem hehe :D |
I'm glad to know that Diva is not the only one!! She's such a spoiled little furball. She brings her bones to me and just shoves them into my hands. If I put it down, she just politely picks it up and puts it back into my hand. She also will bring it to me to hold for her while she does other things. She gets very irritated if I have the nerve to move it out of my lap! |
hi, My Gracie and Jax have me hold there bully sticks all the time. I love it when Gracie asks cause she is not an affectionate little girl and I can pet her and love on her when she's chewing away. Aw for the love of my Yorkie.............lol:p |
Yep. Archie doesn't cry for it -- but he will position himself so that I have no other alternative than to hold his wet, gooey Nylabone for him while he chews happily away. Annoying? Yes. But I do it anyway ... |
Rosi does this too, she will put certain things in my hand so i can hold while she chews  Apollo takes treat and runs... hides his then wanting Rosi's ! |
Katie puts things in mine hand to hold for her too. I think its so cute how they have us trained. :D:D |
Katie holds bones and things between her paws. Often wondered how she learned to do it though. Hugs Shirl x x |
Dolly wants us to hold hers too. Sometimes we do, but if we don't she insists on sitting on my husbands feet while chewing it. |
she loves you lucy.. sometimes brings me her bone and tries to put it in my mouth when i am trying to sleep.. it is like a gift i think... she wants me to chew it WITH her,... i pretend and say thanks...then she is happy cause i liked my present.. what love:) |
