question ! what would be your weight guess for 10 weeks and 3.5 pounds what do you think he would be full grown ?? do you think thats big ?? |
Hmmmmm, I'd guess at the top of standard (7 lbs) to a Tea Pot Yorkie (over 7 pounds, but not quite a Keg Yorkie) LOL! |
I'd say around 8.5-9lbs. I came up with that by pretending the puppy is 12 weeks, doubling it and adding a pound and a half. If that makes sense... Yes, I think its kind of big for a ten week old Yorkie to be honest. Stewie was that weight at 16 weeks and now he is about 7lbs which is supposedly the upper standard. But if he's cute, who cares what he weighs? NOT ME! :P |
hes not a yorkie check my thread "need your opinion again "" hes so cute !! |
oh and thanks ....up to 10 pounds is aok for me :D |
Oh, then I have no idea if he's not a Yorkie. He is cute though. |
I agree. Also, they loose "baby fat". My red pups were the biggest up till going on 4 weeks old. Now they are smaller than the standards. That Yorkie puppy chart is unavailable at this time. Does the pup have a LOT of qualities you are looking for? If not, don't be rushed. I know you love all of your pets and you know it is a lifetime commitment. If you have ANY doubts, don't take that one and keep looking. If it is absolutely perfect, wait three days and see if you feel the same way. Then go from there. Good luck and keep us posted! :D Oops, I was posting the same time you were....and you say its not a Yorkie, so I don't know either. Still, I suggest the last few sentences of my reply. |
At 8 weeks, Stomper was 3.3 pounds. He is now 11 or 12 pounds! I would guess that to be a big yorkie! |
