Suggestions Please 3 Attachment(s) Canyon will be coming home in 3 weeks, 5 days and I am puppy proofing my home, getting his area set up, etc. I've decided to baby gate him in my laundry room with a small crate inside (door off) for his bed, potty pads, food/water/toys etc. It's a 5 ft. X 4 ft. room giving this guy a little room to roam around when I'm not with him. My dilema is, I have a space between the washer and the wall that is about 7 inches wide. I came up with the brilliant idea of a tall kitchen trash can to wedge in there and fill it with hard back books, making it impossible for him to push it or tip it over. However the tall kitchen trash can is 11 inches wide on top and 6 on the bottom, so back to square one. Any suggestions from the YT members? I'm now thinking a large tupperware like container one of those big ones with a lid that you use to put sweaters in storage for the winter under your bed, know what I mean? Would appreciate your thoughts or for those that have had the same dilema, how you solved it? I'm including recent pics of my little handsome man for those that didn't see my thread in the picture forum. |
Puppy care guide take a moment and read over our puppy care guide, it may give you a few ideas... It is a sticky at the top of this section.... You mentioned puppy proofing.... PLEASE secure all electrical cords. It is often looked over.... Hope you find the help you need and Congrats!!:) |
I'm at a loss for what to put between the wall and the washer. Just make sure it's not something he can't chew on or that won't fall over on him. These little rascals can and will get into trouble. That's why we love them! And yes, mine loved electrical cords so watch carefully. Glad to hear you are thinking ahead and being careful with your little one. Sounds like you'll be a good mommy and your little boy is such a cutie. I'm not sure if you have other yorkies...but what awesome little personalities they have. |
Oh my gosh he truly is a gorgeous little boy! Congratulations :) |
Absolutely adorable little guy you will be loving forever! If you are handing with a screw driver or anything what about getting a piece of wood and securing it to the wall so that way it blocks the area between the washer and behind? You can even add carpet over it so he can have fun picking at it. |
we used an x-pen while training avery! it was bring enough for her to have her space(and her bed, food/water, pee pad, etc.) and it also comes in handy if you are going somewhere and want to keep her confined(park, etc). good luck! your baby is a cutie! ;) |
