Bently's busy weekend
 
Everything is going great with our new baby..... he got his first bath..... didn't care for the hairdryer too much.... then a visit on Sat. to Home Depot where he had lots of strange smells and sounds. Today took him to the Denver, Colorado Cherry Bloosom Festival where he had lots more unusual smells (Oriental cooking) and more "oh look at the cute puppy" remarks and things to see....... he even got to say hello to other Yorkies that were there, although all of them were older dogs, not puppies....

Everything else is going great........ he's even getting along better with our cat.........

Then tonight I had to spoil him with some boiled chicken, just for being such a good boy all weekend........ but I did tell him not to get to used to people food........ my wife is just shaking her head..... reminding me of all the things I said I wasn't going to do......... and now are doing........

Sounds like Bentley had a better weekend than I did! It's hard not to spoil our little furbabies!!! My husband is a soft-touch when it comes to our three yorkies!!

Hi and welcome to YT! What a fun-filled weekend you and Bently had! I weathered a storm on Friday, didn't have power til 4pm Saturday, and put in a few hours over-time at work today. I think I'd rather have been with you!:p
Sure hope we can see some pics of Bently sometime soon. How old is he? Is he your only one?

Sorry, thought I'd posted his picture.

Yes, he's our first Yorkie. We had two dogs previously, a black lab that lived to 15 yrs of age and a golden retriver that lived to 14 yrs of age.

Now it's just my wife, me, our cat (we inherited from my cousin when she died) and Bently.........

His registered name is Sir Bently Bo Bo..........

My wife wasn't too hip on the Sir part.........

he is BEAUTIFUL! if you are looking for more ways to spoil him he would LOVE fish, cottage cheese, fruit (no grapes) and veggies (no mushrooms or onions). Enjoy your sweet little man!

Can't see larger pictures
 
Anyone have an idea of why I don't see the larger pictures when clicking on the thumbnails? The new page loads but there isn't a picture on the page.

Bentley looks like a sweetheart! It's okay, my hubby is doing all the things that he said he wouldn't do either! :rolleyes:

You might want to check the size of you pictures as you post. I think that is how you get a larger pic when you go to look at them. I think it is up to 200 that you can have your pictures.
