Quick Q Please Okay I am leaving in 15 minutes to take baby to the vet. I just got a reminder that she is due for the following shots: Rabies Booster, Distemper & Parvo Virus and brodetella.. Does anyone know if all of these are okay to get at the same time?? I'm also getting her leg looked at...the one she was limping on...so I will post on how it goes later..but i need to know about the shots now! Thanks so much! |
Yes, it's ok to get those shots at the same time. Maybe she is limping because she has luxated patella (discloated knee)? |
We don't recommend rabies until 6months old min. I would just go with the dhlpp booster and wait for a separate time on the rabies. |
Well that is my worst fear. She is only 1.5 and has never had any problems before. here is my previous post about it. Because she got hurt the night before i'm hoping that it is just sprained or something. She is just babying it really bad. So I just don't know. I'm a freak about her hurting and bawled my eyes out last night because I thought she mighht be in pain. She only babys it when she is thinking about it. When she is playing, she acts like she is fine. So I just don't know. Thanks about the shots! |

My vet advised me to do Rabies seperate from any other shot...So that is what I have always done... |
She has allready had her rabies once, this is her booster and i believe she HAS to have it... by law...I just couldn't remember if there were some she wasn't supposed to get at the same time. Thanks, I know i"m not making much sense, I'm a nervous wreck! |
I never, ever, get the rabies at the same time. |
allright well i am off...I will let everyone know how it goes. I am so nervous. I am just gonna try not to cry. No one understands why it makes me so upset, but I know you guys will, and I appreciate that so much. Please keep your fingers crossed for my little Baby...i love her so much! |
