Look what a co-worker gave me 4 Attachment(s) Not sure if this is the right place, but I am so excited. A young man - a college art major - that works at Lowes with me made this for me. And all it cost me is a 12 pk of Coors and a bag of Crunch bars:D. He didn't want these but I had to do something for him. He's such a "hottie":D:D:D. |
2 Attachment(s) And here's a couple new pics of Remi napping and Roxy with her cousin's big bobo |
That is awesome well worth coors and crunch bars. |
I love his work. He's very talented. Your pics are darling! They're so cute. I just melt with the sleeping pics. |
 That is so cute! And your babies are adorable!!! What did make that out of? Tile? And what is that frame? Too cute! |
great work he does.. and someone has a crush oh you :) |
The portraits are done in chalk. AND it is Josh's first signed piece so maybe someday it'll be famous:D. The frame was made by a very close family friend back in the 70's. He had a patent on this type of picture frame. He made a bunch of them. He was an incredibly talented man - passed away recently in his 80's. He was, among all of his other talents, an amazing artist. He made a few things for me and put them in barn-board frames made from my dad's old barn. |
Nice!!! The pictures and the guy! What a thoughtful gift! |
That was so nice of him, great work. |

Really - ask him what he would charge. He'll probably have a line up waiting to order pictures. |
Sure, I'll ask him. He's got a full time job, partying, a neice he adores and is helping raise like his own and is pretty busy, but ya never know. School starts in Sept. (3rd yr) and he's been restoring an old car that costs a bunch. I'll schmooze him;). I'll let you know as soon as I can. |

Ahhhhhh, what a sweet thing to do. He is very talented. He could make some extra cash on the side. |
How nice of him...he did a great job girl!! :) |
Really nice work! |
Great news, everybody! I talked to Josh today and he was shocked that people thought he was that good. He likes the idea, especially since his schedule next semester is pretty open. He's going to do some thinking on prices. He did say it's easier to use actual pictures than email. Oh, he also makes jewelry. He just had a necklace he made for his little neice appraised at $1000.00+. I'll keep you all informed:thumbup::). |
I forgot to mention that when I told Josh to just come up with some prices he said "Can't I just do them for beer?", hehehe. |
What flavor does he like?:) |
Hehehe - Coors(original). He will also settle for a bottle of Tequila. |
OK, if anyone is interested in a portrait, pm me. Josh is going to do them:thumbup:. He's pretty excited about it:). |

What does he do besides chalk?? |
I know he does oils - that's what he was originally going to do for me, but he started it at home over spring break and his oils were all at school. He does charcoals, I know. He can do anything as far as I know. |
