Ok guys! Here are some pics of my son's new look! If he could talk I can only imagine the words he was saying during the haircut process.....But we made it and we thought we'd share it with you!

Needless to say....he hated it and whined the whole time but I'm sure it will get better. Let me know what you think and I am open to any "grooming suggestions". I am a BEGINNER and I am very eager to become a pro so my son's image doesn't have to suffer....LOL.....

What a cute cut...You did a pretty awsome job..and It sure looks
alot better then when i tryed it...hahaha so i just gave up and
took them for a prof. hair cut...:rolleyes:

:aimeeyork You did a super job! Did you use clippers on her coat? Around her f ace looks very good toov. I trimmed Suzi around her face, and the back of her legs so the poo would not get stuck on her. It was hard to even do that, she is a pup and did not like that at all. I'll have to take her to a real place next time.:D

I think you did a fabulous job! It looks al ot better than some of the so called Professionals have done to other members fur babies, that is for sure! Your on your way to being a pro!!

Coby is 6 months so he's still a pup and he hated every minute. But the trick I did to make him be still (kind of) was I cleared my kitchen table and cut him while he stood there. He was too scared to jump off so that kept him pretty still. I used clippers for his body and scissors for trimming his face and the hair around his bum. I also fed him treats and gave him little breaks....besides, I needed the breaks too....lol.....

Thanks! I was very happy that we made it through without any nicks or gashs......

You did a great job!! :thumbup: I would have left a little more hair on the top of his head..... but you did a much better job than I would have done all over... I once "tried" to groom my Rocky and I left such a big hairball around his butt my husband asked what it was! (I was just too afraid to get to close to his "privates")... needless to say... my babies go to the groomer!! ;)

I know what you mean about getting close to his jewels cause I was verrrrrrrrry nervous. I just used the scissors and it took me a long time to deal with that area....lol....I could tell that he didn't trust me near his jewels but I don't blame him....I wouldn't have trusted me either....LOL...
