NY Yorkie Meet-Up
 
I think we really plan a Yorkie meet-up. There are a lot of Brooklyn, Manhattan and Staten Island girls (and even NJ or anyone else in driving distance). But I don't want to meet in Manhattan because parking is SO crazy and hard to find.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a nice park in maybe Brooklyn or Staten Island? I'm going to search google right now for a few.

Brooklyn has Dyker Park and Marine Park. But are there any others?

Bay 8th st Park is nice too...There is also the "dog park" on 86th st and 10th avenue (by the golf course and Nathans)...Brooklyn Heights by the promonade is awesome too...

Yes the promonade is awesome but there is no grass :( hee hee I've been tot he dog park on 86th Street and 10th Ave and it's nice. If we do something local (as in Brooklyn) I can meet up as soon as this Saturday. But I'm open to other areas.

if it was somewhere close i could go but i would have to go bymyself or with kayko since brownie is antisocial but kayko looks like a yorkie and he loves everyone lol i would love to meet you all tho !!

i want to go!! we're going on vacation next week, though. we live in NJ but we get into the city a lot. let us know!!

What kind of dog is Kayko? Codie isn't a Yorkie either. He's my cutie pie Maltese.

Awww!! Sammi is anti-social too!! Maybe her and Brownie would actually get along...2 anti-socials equal one social butterfly!!!

To be honest I have only taken Maximus to gateway Park...which as the beach....grass and a childresn palyground....and a park on Victory Blvd...that I can't think of the name which is shaped almost like a ovel and has a pond in the middle and the ducks are there plu there is a carpusel...but Maximus chases the poopr ducks and they finally figured out that they outnumber him and came chasing him back this weekend :)..lol but I would never let him go leashless but there is alot of grass???
