Serious Pee Problem I am in need of some HELP!! My Emma was doing so well, then she suddenly starting peeing on my furniture. Not once or twice, all the time. What happened was that we thought she was doing so well, then I chose to get rid of this little throw rug and guess where Emma had been Peeing! Yep, on the rug. No rug, Emmy pees on my furniture. I have put a Pad down where rug was and she acts like it isnt there. I welcome any advice from anywhere, this is getting serious. |
Put her on leash and attach it to your belt loop. This way, you will know where she is at all times and can keep an eye on her "potty signals." If this is not feasible, crate her when you can't watch her. Take her straight from the crate outside. If you don't see her "go," then put her back in the crate for 15 minutes and then take her straight out again. Clean the area with an enzymatic cleaner like Nature's Miracle |
I don't know how old she is, but this doesn't sound normal. I would have her checked for a bladder infection. Has she been spayed? |
Just spayed Friday. No physical problems. I thinks she is picking on me |
I hate to sound silly, but maybe she is just mad at you or pouting for leaving her at the vet office to get fixed, or because of a reason only she knows. Maybe you will have to keep her from jumping on the furniture somehow until she decides it's better to just submit to potty training. |
silly or not.. she definately knows how to get to me...lol |
id get her checked by the vet i was having the same problems with millie she was having lots of acidents in the house lately it can be the first signs of something not quite right maybe cystitis or water infection millies was diabetis but there are a lot of other things can cause accidents in the home too better to be safe then sorry hugs janis |
The reason I asked about spaying, is that this sometimes happens afterwards, usually it's because they have a bladder infection. Please check with you vet, this can be very painful and she really can't hold it, so don't scold her or crate her and "make" her hold it. |
Thanks, ya'll, I'll have her checked out because she is peeing way too much! |
pee pee problem quick fix Well, I got nature's miracle, soaked my furniture. Bought puppy panties. Emma went straight to the door and barked to go out when I put the panties on her for the first time!! She pees every time she goes out and come right back in and I put her panties back on. Guess she'll wear panties the rest of her life or at least until she gets over being mad at me for who knows what! LOL and she even left her bow in her hair. Guess she figured out that I was gonna win eventually and she may as well give in! LOL she's so funny:rolleyes: OH yeah, and I through her a mini party when she pee pees outside so I through a party the other day and she spoke to me and ran off and wouldnt take her treat..... seems she needed to poop real quick too before going back in... That dog is too smart for her mommy! |
