If it wasn't for love... Hi everyone! My little man is at his mischief again....I discovered that he has a hunger for carpet. Yes, carpet! He has started biting holes in my brand new carpet. Then yesterday he bit a hole in one of my throw pillows and started pulling out the stuffing. You would think that he doesn't have chew toys but he has more toys than I can keep up with. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can stop him from doing this foolishness???? Love truly surpasses all!!!!! LOL...... |
I always use the squirt bottle |

LOL ,sorry I did not explain. When Kingston is chewing or biting something he is not supposed to I squirt him an say NO I do not let him see the squirt bottle because I would not want him to be scared of it. It has work well for us, we use it for a lot of training we have also used it to teach him not to run out the door. I am not a big believer in hitting so this works for us. |
Oh how I remember the puppy days. My girl Mimi loved to chew and destroy anything in site. We basically had to keep things where she couldn't reach so then she decided that she wanted to chew other things. A list of things she chewed or destroyed: walls shoes dining room table and chairs gameboy controllers cords if my pocketbook was at her level she would take things out and chew on them removing stuffing from the pillows I'm sure there is more that I can't think of right now. She's finally over the chewing stage...thank goodness for that. |
