An Announcement!
 

I would just like to announce.............

JENNA IS FINALLY POTTY TRAINED!!!


She is 9 months old and was really struggling.... she's very willful, and the poor thing was getting "bad" "Bad Jenna" ALL the time... she was always getting in trouble for one thing or another... for getting into things that she shouldnt... for chewing on baseboards... for going to each of the bedrooms and giving everyone in the household a "gift" on a regular basis (she preferred the feel of carpet beneath her feet while she pooped I suppose:rolleyes:).. the list goes on :rolleyes: lol but its been a real struggle ...which I believe to be our fault (we got her three months after Jaya, and Jaya was so well behaved at that point that she had finally gotten more freedom to roam the house - so Jenna obviously got that same freedom...way before she was ready to)

SO! Its been about three weeks that she`s been consistent. And in the last few days, something miraculous has happened................. she is looking for our APPROVAL!!!!!!! Now its always `Good Jenna` ` GOOD job!` and she actually wants it........... I haven't said `bad` for almost three weeks!!! Its an amazing feeling!! She is following me around.... she is actually showing some attachment!!!! And I dont know how to explain it.. but its like she`s had a total personality change lol - but she still has her spunky attitude which I love.

With Jaya.. well....... Jaya was always good... always... never ever had any issues with her (so when I say perfect... i really meant it lol). Jenna has really been a handful, but she`s maturing and its a wonderful thing! (I can trust her to be by herself now! lol )

So anyway! I thought I`d share my wonderful news!!! :) :) :) :) Yay!!

Congratulations!!!!! I know you must be soooo relieved!:D

My Bailey is a "Jaya" - perfect in every way. She was easy to potty train, never barks, doesn't chew on stuff, minds and is eager to please - and a cuddle bug on top of all that. In fact, she's so perfect, I want another one - but I know Bailey is special and that I'll never strike gold twice!

Your post was perfect for me - at least I know if #2 is not as perfect as Bailey - that over time he/she will learn to live among us...in harmony.

I love this forum! This is a pretty big thing in my life, and other people...well they wouldnt understand why its so important, and I just feel very happy that I can come on here and share this with you all.

And yes! Jenna will get a big hug from you!! :) She is very very special in her own right. It took me almost two whole months to really adjust. Jaya's personality changed overnight when we first brought Jenna home - and I was not pleased with the change. It was as if Jaya lost her spunk...her puppy-ness...and became an adult overnight. It was VERY upsetting for me..... and then to have Jenna who was so different. It took me time to adjust......I had to really look at who jenna was...appreciate her and not compare her to Jaya. She's a little angel who's brought so much to my life - and to Jaya's life!

You wouldnt regret getting another one.. Its been a wonderful experience.
