New floors for the girls!! Last week we had hardwood floors put in our living room and kitchen and now it is so funny watching the girls play in there...everytime they go running around they start sliding across the floor, it is the funniest thing to see!!! They seem to really enjoy it, they do it all the time.... Another is, they are completely potty trained now...there is no more smell of pee so they use the pee pads or go outside...it is like a miracle!!! Has anyone else had this happen to their little ones?!?! |
We're getting new hardwood in two weeks! I can't wait! I wonder how Stewie is going to react. He probably won't be making those tight turns around the coffee table like he usually does ;) |
Last year we did ceramic tile in the downstairs of our house living room kitchen & dining room and we took the carpet off the steps going upstairs and just left the wood. I had to carry Mollie upstairs for 2 weeks until she got used to the difference in the floor. She absolutely lovers of ceramic tile it is so cool in the summer and that is a blessing considering the hot summer we have had so far. |
Sophie has learned to compensate for the smoother floors - she prepares herself to 'slide' :D |
My whole apartment is ceramic tile and Codie and Katie loves sliding on it! It's the cutest thing! :D |

It's funny to watch. They start putting their brakes on, don't they? :p |
We just had hardwood floors put in just 3 days ago!... Actually we took off the carpet, and under the carpet was this beautiful looking hardwood floor.. so we sanded it down and painted it with this clear stuff. and it looks amazing! The kids are enjoying it.. it's a lot cooler as well.. but it's cute watching them slide around everywhere. :) |
Magic is so good at sliding...she can even steer her slides so she doesn't hit anything!!! The first couple of days they were running into everything...but they learn quickly!! |
I have laminate floors and its so easy to clean!! And Bell also goes flying across the floor when she is playing!! |
