So I Think This Is Kinda Weird...
 
So I keep getting someone IM'ing me about that she used to be a member here and now started her own site.. (I won't say the member, or the site!!) But I just find it to be really strange... maybe just trying to promote. But I don't remember the person's user name or anything! And it seemed like they know me!! Maybe again, just to try and get people to go over there.. Any suggestions on how to handle it??

But I'm happy here, and have NO reason to leave!!!!

ah.. thats a nice way to respond! I don't want to be rude ya know?? I just think it's so weird cuz I don't even know this person!! and they are IM'ing me like we are buds!!

maybe they change user name and you may have been friends...i dunno...but that is strange...hehe...i wonder if anyone is dealing with the same issue...

yeah I did find out who it was... Apparently someone that used to be here and stole from here, and was banned. But I don't remember this person and it was a very serious reason for that ban.... They are just trying to promote their new site and IM'ing YT members.. I think thats in bad taste personally.

I did join that site as an alternate place to share yorkie stories but after reading the nonsense and yt bashing I stepped away from them. I was very suprised at some of the yt members that were on there talking smack. But you know what good riddence to them and yt is a much better place without them.

how sad!!! I mean, I got involved in a pretty heated thread a couple months back, lost my temper a bit, and I got banned for a week... NEVER would I imagine going to another site and talking crap about YT... I had to suck it up, be a big girl and take my punishment! LOL... I had no one to blame but myself!!!

Hmmm...I think I know who you are talking about. I find if funny when former, banned YT members start other forums and do nothing but criticize everything that goes on here...it's like, "gee, you didn't thnk that when you were a member...":rolleyes: Can we say, "bitter?" If they truly don't care, then why discuss it? Anyway...people never cease to amaze me...

Well admin can't do anything, other than ban them, which they already did... What they do on their own time (in bad taste or not) is up to them!!!

Amazing since most of the nasties are gone it's been relatively "Drama Free" here. We do have some new folks that are a bit nasty in their postings but their time will come to be removed and dismissed.

I am sure that some of the folks are and have realized their mistake. They jumped on the band wagon so to speak to be a part of a clique. I think towards the end of things they started to realize their mistake. Oh well. I do have a long memory and those that I saw I refuse to post on their posts and they have been removed from my list.
