I do not understand how ANYONE could allow their dog to get in this condition. Any breeder whether they have a so called good breeding program or not that gives this kind of lack of care is no better then a puppy mill in my opinion. Since, this is not the first problem with health that someone has had with one of her dogs I feel that it's not jumping the gun or misjudging her in saying this. That poor dog and poor Timmy's girl (Don't forget) and who knows how many other dogs whose Owners may not have access or know about this site to post. I truly hope that your girl pulls out of this and thank you for caring enough to try to help her. She will repay you for all you've done for her. Elaine |

I feel sorry for any dogs in a breeding program such as that...to let the teeth or any health problem get to a "life & death" state is unconceivable. I can understand and respect a breeder for selling a dog that has a potential health concern/problem that may eventually need to be corrected and is forthcoming with that info from the very beginning. But to let a dog go that long and suffer...that's someone I would not want to buy from. Everyone may have a bad case out of many but there seems to be just to many from the same circle here.:thumbdown Praying Mia can recover and live a happy, healthy life with you! |

My question is this.... What kind of reputable breeder sells retired girls without spaying them first? The YT ad for Mia is over a year ago. There has been plenty of time for this breeder to have Mia spayed and her teeth cleaned. Maybe if that had been done poor Mia would not be suffering now! |

Mia is just adorable and shouldn't have been neglected to the point that her teeth are this bad at such a young age.....and to try to sell a 5 year old with such bad teeth and issues for $900.00 even if it was a year ago... is pretty sad. I'm really dissapointed in Sylvan Yorkies - I USED to think she cared about her dogs but it just goes to show that a breeder can act like a great breeder - it doesn't mean they are. ) A breeder should put their dogs first - not the money. |

PLEASE keep us updated on little Mia's condition. Poor baby. :( |
This situation just gets more horrible as the time ticks on. You have to wonder if she disclosed the seizure problem when she sold this beautiful baby. I have no idea how she could have let her teeth deteriorate to that point. More and more it seems like the dogs are just a commodity to her and not what she represented...I mean come on you breed her until you can't and never bother to see to her teeth and whatever else she needs. Even if she was with someone else for a few months there is no way that her teeth could have deterioriated that badly in the course of that time. I totally agree that she should never have rehomed this baby the last time or this time intact. Personally knowing what I know about her from the whole Michiko and Timmy issues coupled with this I am disgusted. When I lost Lulu and was posting about it Stacy's Daughter sent me a pm....she started off offering her condolences and then went on in subsequent emails to let me know her mom is a breeder and a member on YT and that she probably had puppies if I were interested. At first I thought I was dealing with a sweet young lady. Then as I thought about things honestly I started to wonder if I was actually talking to Stacy...I wondered if she was coming onto YT under her daughter's screen name and possibly seeking out sales that way. I am glad that in all my grief and need for a new baby that I didn't fall into that. God only knows I would probably have ended up with a sick dog. |
Breaks my heart to see poor Mia like that. WHY wouldn't she at least spay and do dental BEFORE rehoming her. She had to know that the poor baby needed this desperately. Sounds like she knew she was too sick to go under anesthesia and didn't want to risk losing being able to sell her. Praying Mia can get healthy and pain free and know how much fun life can be with the right Mom. |

I can't imagine any yorkie with no energy to play.... We all know what a toothache feels like :( so she's obviously been living in serious pain for a while now & THAT IS JUST WRONG ...not pointing fingers.... but someone should have done something a long time ago when it was discovered her little teeth were so bad off. Bless her heart - she's a little doll and didn't deserve to be so neglected. |

not right ! to take you at your most vunerable and try to sell you a puppy ? Lord...except for checking on Mia I'm not saying another word about this 'breeder' :( I hope she takes a serious look at what she\'s been doing and makes some serious changes in her life for ALL her dogs sake. |
