Well...I am pretty excited about this.....I know most of you probably have already done this...but I just recently started trying (about a week) and I can now make Maximus pee on command!!!! If I go over to the pad and say Maximus come on time to do pee pees..he will either go a normal amount or just squeeze out a drop..MOST OF THE TIME!!!! This is soooo exciting to me because Maximus is notorious for getting excited to go out, not peeing..getting to the park, playing and then on the way home crying because he has to pee and he won't pee outside...so we race home and he runs to the pad for like a 10 minute pee....ANYWAYS !!!!! Yay!!!!

YAY Maximus. Coco will do it 70% of the time and the rest of the time, she just cocks her head at me like "I don't get it". CONGRATS! What a big step for you two. You must be thrilled.

The sic thing is I never thought to tell him to pee I just let him go when he feels like it.....because he is pottytrained..but it was getting to the point that I dreaded taking him out because I knew he was gonna have to go..and being soo hot I always carry a bottle of water for him to drink while he is playing...glad Coco does it too!!!!

Gus was like this too. He was trained to go in the pad. So the first time we went to an outing it was to my best friends house, I knew he might get confused when it came to going potty. So what I did was take pads with me where ever I went. He would not go unless there was a pad down. Now he goes outside and don't care for the pads, but will use them if he has to. Maybe you can try taking pads with you so he don't have to hold it till he gets used to going outside. Good for Maximus peeing on command. What a good boy!!!

Yeah I take the pads to the park and I have even tried putting them on th epassenger seat in the car so he can pee...but he is very fussy about it and will literally hold it till we get home...he HAS to pee in his corner....if it wasn't soo sad it would be funny...but he did pee on a napkin he saw at the park once..lol and he pooped on the pad once as well as on a book soemone left on the floor in Petsmart...he-he..I was like thank you very much, and then I HAD TO BUY IT!!!

One time I was lying on the rug on my stomach looking through a J.Crew catalog. I got up for a moment, and when I came back, there was a piece of dookie on the open magazine!

It was Otis! He was a little puppy then. It was sooo funny. He certainly showed me what he thought of J.Crew clothing.

Congrats, Maximus! What a great little boy you have!

It's like omce they are potty trained...they still try ot find a way to beat the system..ha-ha!!!

Oh, I'm soooo jealous! tucker just pees everywhere. Hold it? forget it! Take him out, he pees, bring him in, he pees. He is driving me crazy! How would it be to have one who only goes in one spot? Congrats, that is wonderful.
