pet friendly hotels Has anyone stayed in a Red Roof Inn? Is it clean? We are going to Washington, D.C. in July and I wanted a hotel that was pet friendly. We have stayed in La Quintas and they aren't usually very nice.:thumbdown |
Red Roof Inn (Washington DC, DC) - Hotel Reviews - TripAdvisor Is this the place? It's only 2 stars. The reviews seem less than favorable. Some of the reviews aren't to bad though. |
My boyfriend and I stayed in one but it was way before we had Lilly. It was really nice because they had just re-done everything but the bed sucked, it was hard as a rock. |
I recently stayed at a Hampton Inn and it was really nice, and pet friendly. Have you made your reservations yet? Hotel and motel groups where pets are welcome There's some pretty good hotels there, but not sure what's in that area or price range. |
haven't had good experience with Red Roof Inn.... I find Ramada and Holiday Inn to be the best.... One option I've found is to get a boarding facility very near where you are staying (better choice if doesn't have to be Pet-friendly)....you can travel about to see the sights and then go get your baby wheneve your want... I'll have to do this when attending to fathers estate (500 miles away)... roxa |
We have stayed in a few Red Roof Inns on the road with Piccolo. Some were better than others, but the ones we stayed in were fine. |
when we went to S. C. for my son's bootcamp graduation, we rented a pet-friendly condo for 2 nights, this way we were sure the cleaning lady or anyone else didn't come in..The cleaning was arranged for after we left....We also brought part of a xpen to put in front of the door for when we would come back and didn't get so excited that they would run out the door...Just a precaution on our part...We also drove from Jersey to S.C. and could bring the xpen... |
Not sure if this is in your price range but Kimpton Hotels allow pets, and there are several in the DC area. I recommend the Hotel Monaco. Very pet friendly. Kimpton Hotels: Boutique Hotels, Luxury Travel and Chef-Driven Gourmet Restaurants Much nicer than Red Roof Inns. |
Marriott's Residence Inn is pet friendly. We stay at Residence Inn every where we travel. The rooms are always the same so Winston thinks that it is home away from home. |
We stayed at one in San Antonio - but it had just been remodeled. It was very nice, but I'm sure some are not. ;) Good Luck! Kay |
All Sheraton and Westin hotels are dog-friendly for dogs under 20 lbs. We stay in them all the time with Gracie. |
