Bob has a friend!!!!!
 

Well I went to the rescue on Saturday to pick out Bobs friend. There were MANY to choose from I can assure you! Big ones, little ones, mixed breeds, rat terriers, german shepards, etc, etc, etc. I asked about the yorkies and she took me over to that pen and there was this FRISKY 12 lb boy that was a DOLL.....but so active and a little boy terrier got into the pen and the yorkie boy pinned him down on the ground quick and was on him..So I thought he was a little more than I was looking for. Then there she was..
the little girl...Her eyes were still pretty matted and of course she had been shaved and she was about 7 or 8 lbs. I picked her up and held her and that was that. She was mine.
Her name is Marley, even tho the rescue lady said she had probably never heard her name so I kept it...see why? Bob and Marley? Bob Marley.lol..
Hard to say just what her age is. Could be 5 could be 10. Puppy mill. She only has 4 teeth so her tounge is mostly always just hanging out.. She cant help it. She is not housebroken. We will work on it. But she is HOME...forever however long that is.
She slept in a wicker basket the first night then last night we went to bed and I put the basket beside the bed. She settled in and sometime in the night I sensed her moving around and I just put my hand in the basket with her and she slept again. About 3 oclock I look down and could just barley see but she was lying on her back and these BIG eyes just staring at me. Then a little later she was on her hind legs with her front legs up on the bed. I said..ok..come her and thats where we stayed until the alarm went off at 6. Bob was ok with her being there. She has no idea what a tv is, what a mirror is, or what it means to play with squeak toys. She has no idea about kisses or holding or being on a lap.. She has a lot to look forward to but doesnt know it yet.

Oh yeah..pictures..I have to tell you I havent had a MINUTE yet for pictures but will try in the next day or so..

OH, that brought tears to my eyes:cry: She's a lucky lucky girl that you came along:love: I hope that soon she knows all the joys of being a spoiled pet and that you have many years of happiness together:)

Your heart must be as big as the moon!:D I'm so happy for you and for Marley and I'm certain Bob will fall in love with his new friend, too. It' terribly sad, isn't it, that she has never had the fun that she should have had. It all just makes my day!:D

I am so happy for her!! And I look at Bob, all beautiful skin and fur and healthy teeth so white and a perfectly healthy colored tounge and then at her pitiful eyes and the 4 little teeth and think how sad it is that life took all these terrible turns for her. They dont deserve any of it.

What a great person you are to get a rescue

Nah not great..Just normal... Ive been like this since I could walk..bringing home dogs and bugs and birds. Just me..and my poor husband is allergic to most everything..but he goes along with it...

Congrats!!! You are a special person and I know Marley will bring you so much love and in return get so much love that she so rightly deserves and has been missing for a long time. Can't wait to see pics

wait til she starts to come around!! She will NEVER leave your side.. That's how lily is.. where ever i go.. there she is!

That is so....great that you rescued Marley and gave her a wonderful forever home. :smile::aimeeyork She sounds like such a sweetheart given everything she's been thru. "Congratulations"!!!

P.S. I have to tell you, you made me laugh when you said about the frisky 12 lb Yorkie boy, pinned the terrier down on the ground. And also when you said, he was a little more than what I was looking for. :D

I'm so happy for all of you and especially Marley! I love her name by the way :) It was meant to be ;)
