What to do Toto's hair is matted???? Hey all of you, how are all of you? Haven't been on for a while because i just got a new job @ Kaiser Permanente Hospital with my mom. Finally :D Well just wanted to stop by and say hi to everyone. Miss all of you. Well now to my question my mom took Toto a bath but didn't comb his hair right after and his hair got all matted like big time. And when i took him to the groomers she didn't want to cut his hair she wants to shave him. Before i even think about shaving him does anyone have any recommendations first??? Is there any conditioners that work? Please let me know. I need to find out before this weekend. I'll check in a few days before this weekend. Thanks you guys!!!!!! |
Gracie also had huge dreadlocks :) I did not want to shave her so I cut those mats out that I could not brush out...she didn't have tons so I don't know if that would work for you...but she is now mat/dreadlock free!! |
I'm no expert but I really think when they are changing from puppy to adult coat - they get knotted very easily - I had the same problem with Cheri when she was a baby - Using a GOOD conditioner and a spray on helps alot - I used Johnsons No More Tangles for babies....sprayed some on after her bath then brushed her when she was semi dry - It really helped. If the matts are too bad and will hurt to get out - I would cut them off - they can really be close to the skin and pull on your baby when they move.... |
Put Avon's Skin so Soft in bath water, it will do the trick. |
