photo A photo of her laying on her back showing, her belly would be best..but from the side shot, she does look fuller in her belly area...she also looks a large size York and with close vet monitoring, she may whelp okay even though the male is larger...if she has several puppies in the uterus, they can only grow so large, as oppose to one oversized one...be sure to get an xray around 55 to 58 days... |
I wish I had some good advice but just get her to a vet. I just wanted to say good luck with little Doo Doo, hope everything works out! Keep us updated... |
I agree with the rest....... Doo Doo definitely needs a vets attention if the daddy of those pups is a cocker. Her life could be in danger if she tries to deliver them naturally. You will find there are many Yorkie Crazy peeps here.... and all really care about the heath and care of Yorkies in general. This is a great site..... and there are breeders here that are very experienced. They may be able to help you with good advice. WELCOME TO Yorkie TALK!!!! Check out all the great forums!!! Looking forward to seeing pics of your Yorkie. |
shes an adorable dog! when laying down her belly definately looks full. id just take her to the vet as she gets along, and get your hands on all of the birthing info you can-this site has alot of great info. if you get in a jam please call the vet asap-she looks to be a bigger yorkie, so im hoping she will do ok birthing her pups. even though they wont be full blood yorkies, i bet they will be really beautiful dogs-and you wont have any problems finding forever homes for them! |
Sorry , I thought it was a joke but the story sounded fishy and with a dog named Doo doo, could you blame me??;) Good luck with her and the babies!! |

What did the Vet say about a much bigger dog getting Doo Doo pregnant? Did they seem to think the little girl would make it through this alright?? I mean there is a big difference in size.....the American Cocker can weigh 15 to 30 pounds, where your dog looks about 10 lbs at the most. |
Welcome to YT........your in the right place for help and get lots of questions answered! I hope your hUbby's boss dont expect you to give her baby up if you are going through a great deal keeping her safe and if you are going to have her for a long period of time How long are you giving her to come back and get her?............... She neglected her anyways. Good luck with the puppies. I hope for both your sake and Doo doo's (love the name btw) that your vet asists with the delivery! |
