Any other January pups out there?
 

I was talking to a friend this evening, and she is determined that what month a pup is born in helps determine a dogs personality. While I don't really think that is true, it did make me curious.

My Alastor was born Jan. 10, 2008. He is tiny, only 2.8lbs, and is super calm. He has a full coat, and may be silky, but it's taking longer than I expected to grow out. He is a very picky eater and I am having a hard time getting him to fatten up. He is a pig in the chinese zodiac and is a Capricorn in the western one.

If anyone else has a Jan dog out there, I would love to hear about them and maybe see a photo? I know its a silly post, but why not have fun with it?

Slade was born January 27, 07. He is NOT calm, he is very hyper. Doesn't like to cuddle much at all. Slades not really a picky eater, he just has a hard time gaining weight. He's super skinny.

My baby was born Jan. 11, 2006 and he was a picky eater and very tiny for a long time, but his appetite improved and he now weighs five pounds! (Like that's SOOOO big!). He is a very calm and mellow fellow, very sweet-tempered and affectionate. Loves to snuggle and is very friendly with people and dogs. He's a very nice little guy. Here are some pics at three months old and full grown.

My little hyper piggy was born Jan 18 08. Eats anything and everything. She gets into EVERYTHING!! She is super loveable. She loves attention.

Artie was born on New Year's Day! January 1, 2004
He snorts/honks like a Pig when he gets excited and eats like a Pig as a matter of fact he's a whopping solid 10 lbs. I think he's going to get even bigger as he gets older? I'm working on his Diet and since it's Summer he walks more. He also got a little chunky since he recently got "Fixed"!
He was quite obnoxious with the "Marking" during our walks and Fighting, always on the "Alert" he is much more Balanced & Relaxed and now he is 100% "Angel". He gets along with his mate Abigail and their daughter Pom Pom, they never fight. He actually gets along with other Dogs and Loves being petted by Strangers, he loves attention and to go to Public places, he loves Traveling by plane & car, he also Surfs, Boogie Boards & swims.
He loves being Groomed, he wears a topnot with a barette or a "Politically Correct" bow that usually matches his outfit and I braid his Tail.
He understands commands in English, Filipino and Japanese.
He is very Intelligent and learns things after being told only once, he does things that I never Trained him to do. I have an incredible relationship with him, he is literally the first to wake me up every morning and the last one to kiss and cuddle me to go to sleep. It seems like he gets better with age.
He was my first Yorkie and he was so impressive that I now have 3 Yorkie's!

Here is My baby Tsubi..she was born on 1/23/08 and weighs 2.2lb now. she is a very healthy and happy baby..She is the baby of the family.:):) We love her soooo much!

Here is Brooklyn! She was born Jan 24, 2008. She is not super active...normal, i would say! She has a very outgoing personality...never meets a stranger! Loves belly rubs....loves to eat!! Not a picky eater at all. We love her to pieces!!

Well, I can see all jan babies have at least one thing in common. Boy are they beautiful!!

Pixie was born 1-3-06. She is a bit overweight at 4 lbs and has a very silky coat. She is the pack leader and watches out for all the other dogs. She is very determined but not really hyper. My husband calls her perfect Pixie.

Here is a picture of my Halle. She was also born on January 24th of this year. She weighs just a little over 4 lbs at almost 5 months. She loves to play....almost as much as I love watching her....she is full of energy. She's also pretty vocal; more so than any of my 3 others were at her age. She is a barrel of fun :D

My bday is January 11!! Super cool!!!!:D Anyway Sophie's bday is January 13th 2007. She is i would say a little timid, shakes sometimes, nervous when meeting new ppl and dogs, but then her other side is fierce, competitive with Teddy, and totally sweet. She lovessss giving kisses and getting belly rubs. :p idk if it determines their personality but my other 2 are october and june pups and they are totally different. London has so much spunk, she is in my lap as i write this making me messs up cause she is pushing my arm lol

My baby Bear is born January 27th 07.. same as his mommy He doesnt care to cuddle or belly rubs. wants to alwys be moving and sniffing all around he was 5 lbs at his last check up but I will edit this next wk when he gets neuter for his current weight..Im anxious to know what it is. He is REALLy short cut for summer but i remind myself it will grow... here is my cuttie.
