I use Velcro bows in Missy's hair but I have to use a small rubber band 1st to hold her hair in place, then I put the velcro bow around that. If I use the velcro bow only and no rubber band they usually slip out with in 20min. |
I don't think it will work, either. I'm thinking that the only thing that will stay in is Super Glue or perhaps duct tape. Of course I won't resort to that. |
Hahaha...super glue and duct tape...tooooooo funny!!! |
The only problem I have with bows is the other dogs pulling them off of the puppy that has one on. I tried velcro and couldn't get them to stay in. Now I use childrens barrette's. They work really well and if they get chewed I know I havn't spent alot of money on them. |
I used those little baby bows that have velcro. They didn't stay in. |
I have some Velcro Daisy's for my girls - I put in a rubber band first - then the daisy over the band - they stayed in great but WILL come out when they wrestle or roll around .... I bet the bows are pretty Connie - your avatar is beautiful - love that green dress ! |
I've never heard of velcro bows. Where do you get them? |
I accidently found some in Big Lots - in the Girls/childrens hair section....Dollar stores sell odds and ends too - I don't shop in them but a long time ago I did see girls hair accessories in them too - |
I found that if you just put their hair in a topknot for like a week they get used to it and then try to put a bow in. |
