I'm so stinking proud! Guinness stayed out with my boys practically ALL day, we went out back and he hung around their wading pool while they splashed, then he'd curl up in a towel, act like he wanted in but then didn't want to miss out on the fun, so for awhile we went back and forth. I decided the wading pool was too small for my boys so we loaded up to go to my parents house and I grabbed Guinness. He LOVES rides! LOVES THEM. We got there and he was a shaky little booger but we let him roam around and he had his own area while we were at the pool. When we came back we let him outside and then introduced him to my mom's dog. She has a mini jack russell and they got along GREAT. I was more worried about him getting snippy but he really just wanted to play, eventually she got irritated with him sniffing her tush all afternoon so she told him quite turtly to buzz off LMAO I'm just proud, he really handled himself pretty well! |
Sounds like Guiness had a great day!! He should sleep good tonight |
I've been such a worry wart and not getting him out like I should have this whole time. So, knowing he's got a great temperament shows how lucky I am and I really need to do better. He was around three boisterous boys, another dog and he had one little accident and didn't go far before he'd come looking for me. He's passed out in his bed and my boys are not too far from it themselves :) it was a great day. We are going for another excursion tomorrow. I know this sounds silly but for ME this was a huge deal. I've had some anxiety going out and this just really helped me over one hurdle :) yay me and Guinnie poo! |
I'm glad you guys had such a great day and I hope tomorrow will be even better. |
Sounds like you are smiling. That is great!!!! |
Awww, what a good little boy! |
