Aspca Just Called Me!!
 
They've been to this lady's house twice. He is waiting for her to get home or to answer the door. If she doesn't answer today they're filing with the judge to get a warrant to search her house and kennels. He said since they didn't have a warrant, they couldn't just go in her backyard and check the kennels w/o one. He said the maximum amount of adult dogs you can have in Virginia is 4 adults. She has at least 10 in the house and about 60-100 outside!!! He said she's looking at a huge fine and jail time. He said most likely they will give her a week to downsize, but if living conditions are super bad..the ASPCA will take them all. He ran their license plates and she's never taken any of her dogs to a vet or had dog tags for any of them. He said with the dogs not having any rabies shots, that's she's in huge trouble. Especially with sending Toby over state lines w/o one. So, after/if they take the dogs, they're going to call me and I get to pick any dogs/puppies that I want for turning them in! I can't wait till they catch her! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

ALL RIGHT !! I love all the action going on lately - you go girl - save those poor babies.

I had to do that with one of my neighbors...they surrendered the dog and it went VERY well - Nothing on a scale like THIS :) The best of luck to you...I hope those dogs find better homes - please make sure they DO keep them and not put them to sleep !

Toby is so lucky you found him! Now I worry about the fate of all those breeder dogs. It just breaks my heart. :unlove:

OMG!!!! Have YOU seen anyone coming or going from there in the past few days? How overwhelmingly devestating that would be if ALL of those animals were left to fend for themselves with no food and water. How DREADFUL that they haven't had VET CARE!!!! I hope there is someone there that has decided not to answer rather than all the poor animals in there starving and dieing from thirst! And the HEAT!!!!! PLEASE let us know what happens!! This is really very upsetting!!

This lady is in Waynesboro, Virginia. I live in Ohio and made the special trip to get Toby. The ASPCA is supposed to call me tomorrow and give me an update. I'm 9 hours from Virginia. The good thing is, that I'll get to pick any dogs that I want if they take them all from her. I've already found homes for at least 5 of them here in Ohio.

Thanks againf or doing all this, this is just breaking my heart. And Im so glad she is at least being investigated and I so hope she gets what is coming to her and MORE! Those poor babies--sooo glad my trixie is out of there and you got Toby at least! :(

When the page comes up just see how long after taking these sick dogs out, it took
to arrest her and then the dogs had no rights but she did. (Nashville, Tn. )

As soon as I find out if I'm going to be able to help adopt out the dogs I will let you know ASAP! She has dogs ranging from 5 years to puppies that are just a few weeks old. She breeds Yorkies, Poms, Papillions, and a bunch of them are mixed. Those are just a few of the dogs that I've seen. Also, a few of them looked like schnauzer mixes.
